I risk being accused of racial profiling.....but those are "Asian feet" male toes down and female toes pointing up....the skin tone also is a give away. The female looks like she is young and not from a farming back ground i.e. Isaan. Rice pickers are more splayed and normally have the 2nd toe extending further than the 1st (big toe) with at least a 1cm gap.. Don't believe me ? check your Thai GF/wife's plates of meat.

Excellent deduction my good man. Excellent

The decrease in tax on "locally" made wine vs the increase on imported wine shows Thailand believes they have a domestic wine category of significance to protect.  While the tax break for locally made products isn't unusual in this country, the definition of "locally" made wine is.  There are two or three large Thai companies that import wine in bulk from Europe or South America, finish the wine in Thailand and bottle it under their label.  Mar y Sol by Siam Winery is a good example.  In the rest of the world these wines would still have to be labeled for their Country of Origin (not Thailand). It's unclear if Thailand govt considers these wines to fall into the "locally" made or not.  It would be of big financial advantage to the large Thai companies if these negotiant wines suddenly become locally made.    It will be interesting to see if the price of Mar y Sol wines (299 thb) and similar wine prices go up or down or just stay the same (wholesaler taking the margin).   For traditional bottled wines, honestly labelled and imported into Thailand we'll be getting the shaft with higher value wines all the moreso.  Sticking it to the foreigner and Thais who develop an interest in quality wines because they can and probably encouraged by the owners (Red Bull, Singha, etc) of domestic Thai wine businesses.

If this stops one person from drinking its worth it.

Mother Teresa was not a good person by the accounts I've heard -- look into it.  This lady is far better.  And who says it's one in fifty million?  People help each other every day.  It's good to publicize good deeds and make a big deal out of them.  It encourages others.  The only thing sad is how it reminds us how much more needs to be done.

These Thais are so self absorbed. They just want to post on facebook. To show how great they are doing.

Get a life. It was a light-hearted comment meant to bring a few laughs. Perhaps it failed.

Aside from that judge, get off your high horse. You don't know what I drink (if at all) and do not know me. Never presume.

You know what is stupid? People who have nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon than take an anonymous shot at someone on a forum? That is pathetic.

I won't presume (as you have about me) what a boring and pathetic life one may have here when one has nothing else to do than lash out against others who actually enjoy or (in my case) have enjoyed Thailand.

Back to the OP, I agree that Thailand needs more people like that kind woman. It might bring back young and adventurous travellers with money.

Not just attract bitter old men on fixed incomes that sit at computers all day and take random potshots at others on a forum.

    Heavy beer intake. Haha.

If you took offense to my comment or found it in poor taste all you had to do is say so or report me to the mods. As it stands, you're just making things up about someone you don't know.

Go back under your bridge, troll.

She is a bimbo for sure! LOL.

IMO , the bar owner "played a blinder"
There seems to have been a long running dispute between the two parties and it was only a matter of time before it would escalate
That escalation could have been anything and happened anywhere .
The bar owner knew that the incident was being filmed and their actions would be evidence against them .
And he intended to make the film public .
Without the video, it would have been just another bar room brawl , with the video , its clear who the "bad guys" are
And with any further escalation, the Police will go looking for the bikers
Bar owner played a blinder .
I did also notice at the end of the video , the guy came from behind the bar with a large weapon and the bikers soon fled

Let them kill each other. No great loss, Low life falangs. LOL.
