I think we expats would have great problems returning to our respective countries as the costs of international flights will increase to stratospheric levels to the point that we could for the most part not return annually to our countries of origin if not to return permanently.

I suppose those who made the choice to stay have a lot of money left to spend, so why wonder, Thailand is more safer now that many western countries, help the economy of Phuket to survive but the Thais don't have it yet I got it.

With so many Chinese coming in to the country during January and February, the streets should be full of dead people now. This has clearly not happened. So the virus must have trouble spreading here at same rate as other countries.
