anchadian replied to Gandtee's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
So it's just a matter of calling them (SKYPE) and inform them you didn't receive a LC and they will reinstate the payments and email you with a duplicate LC. International Pensions Center 44 191 2187777 option 1 between the hours of 8am and 7:30pm Monday - Friday (United Kingdom time). -
UK pensions. Is this the right forum?
anchadian replied to Gandtee's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
Has your wife changed her address since receiving her state pension or maybe you both didn't receive a LC. If so, it's just a phone call away (SKYPE) to inform them that her address has changed and they will email you a duplicate LC with a grace period of 16 weeks in which to return the completed LC and reinstate her payments. I know this for a fact as it happened to my Thai wife. -
Correct. As stated, all that is needed is a phone call and IPC will email you a blank LC and give you a further 14 weeks grace period to return the completed LC. 4 weekly payments will be paid as per normal First page of emailed LC: It is important that we receive your reply within 14 weeks from the date of this form. If we do not receive your completed Life Certificate then I regret that we will have to stop your money until the Life Certificate is received. I know, it happened to my Thai wife.

Thailand's Election Commission Probes Pitha's ITV Shares
anchadian replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
(1/2) Former Election Commissioner Somchai Srisutthiyakorn told @PravitR Weds suggestion by caretaker Deputy PM Wissanu that all MF MPs elect may be disqualified if Pita is disqualified due to ITV media shares holding as Pita endorsed them to compete is farfetched but possible. (2/2) "Is this an attempt to lead [the EC and the Constitutional Court]? If so it will cause tremendous damage to the society so Mr Wissanu should just keep quiet," Somchai told @PravitR https://twitter.com/KhaosodEnglish/status/1663809606995558402 . -

Thai citizen's overstay on British passport
anchadian replied to anchadian's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I understand that when his wife entered the UK many years ago she had a stamp saying 'indefinite leave to remain in the UK' and after several years she applied for a British passport. When she returned to Thailand possibly she was unaware that she could have used her expired Thai passport to enter the Kingdom. I will update this thread if any further developments. -

Thai citizen's overstay on British passport

Quite agree, she should have entered on a valid or expired Thai passport. -
Asking for a friend of mine. My friend’s Thai wife entered Thailand on a British passport approximately 18 months ago on a 30 day non-exempt. Since them, his wife has been paying B5,000 a month to an immigration officer due to overstay. The British passport has since expired and hasn’t been renewed. I understand that the Thai lady was living and working in the UK for many years and also held a British passport. The lady of course holds a valid Thai ID card. There is something not quite right here. Any help appreciated that I can pass on to my friend.
