  1. No need, they come free with a bag of rice.
  2. I think they are the only free optional extra, everything else costs an arm & a leg.
  3. Yes but who invented the problem, was it the news agency or the US CDC they wrote their article quoting from?
  4. Or even Position, Speed, Look, here it is Speed, no Position, no looky but flashy lighty (sorry that's China, remove the Y's to convert to Thai).
  5. My Taycan came with "electric" badges on the side. The guy who wrapped it in self-healing PPF asked if I wanted them replacing after the wrap, we left them off.
  6. For BYD's to match recorded EV statistics, we should be seeing one fire every 8 months approx I will check back in April 2024
  7. The MG4 & MGZS EV both have 5* NCAP safety ratings.
  8. Coming from the UK, the only major differences I found were that most Thai's rarely see roundabouts and despite white stop lines being painted on the exit, local customs tend to apply. And more importantly, if you are driving down a road and turning right into a side road, any traffic waiting in that side road to turn right in front of you has right of way, it's completely the opposite in the UK.
  9. Developing cannabis use disorder is relatively common in Washington state, one of the first states to fully legalize cannabis, and can even occur in people who only use medical marijuana, according to a new study. Many Americans wrongly believe exposure to marijuana smoke is safer than tobacco, study finds “There’s a perception that people who are using marijuana for medical reasons have a lower risk of a cannabis use disorder,” said lead author Gwen Lapham, assistant professor at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine. To have cannabis use disorder, or CUD, a person must have two or more of such symptoms as craving weed, becoming tolerant, using more than intended, using marijuana even though it causes problems in life, using it in high-risk situations, experiencing withdrawal and being unable to quit, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 10. Just some advice, I think the agents are all pretty poor. They get a much higher percentage commission from a developer for selling a new unit, you will actually get the best deal from a motivated seller who may take anything above half what he's asking.
  11. Especially your postman
  12. It sounded great... Then you had to go and spoil it.
  13. Definitely set it to the rating of the inverter (6Kw ?) I think that is your problem.
  14. I would buy a plug in voltmeter on Lazada and plug it in a socket and see how high it gets before it resets. Crossy will probably know what the permitted voltage is, probably 253v or something like that, if it's hitting that then shutting off you will know it is a weak grid. Alternatively, try turning on a few heavy loads (air cons on cold etc) and see if it still happens, if it doesn't the problem is a weak grid. You could try removing a few panels until it doesn't happen (or enjoy the cool air). I have 2 grid-tied inverters and 2 of mine will do the same, I've cadenced the voltages so they go off in succession until they are happy.
  15. My solar system is Grid-Tied, I don't cycle my LFP batteries (28.8KwHr), I keep them for power cuts. I did once consume 0 units, usually my bill is about 70-120 baht. We average 66 KwHrs of power production per day over the last 26 months, about 22Kw of panels and 18Kw of Grid-Tied inverters. One or two of my inverters often shutdown because we have a weak grid and can't pump out more than about 8Kw, which makes sunny days ideal for charging the EV's. My best days are about 110 KwHrs of production, but I have to be charging the EV to do that or it's wasted.
  16. Nice video, thanks for that. I hope the doors are electric as shown in the video, and I like how they have done the dashboard, I much prefer flat panels integrated into the dash than floating. I didn't spot any Chinese faces? maybe off camera? maybe they wrote the script? And I hope the batteries are LFP, but I suspect they will be NMC to get the power density.
  17. I think the Brit Dynamic badges are hilarious, a completely meaningless badge. I hate the badge indicating the latest fad, they age quickly, like ABS, Power Steering, 90hp, Fuel Injection etc etc
  18. We get a few power cuts each year, mostly in the rainy season. Occasionally it will go out exactly at 9am, it's either on again in 5 minutes (hooking up a new house somewhere nearby) or stays off till 4:30pm (trimming trees). Otherwise it's mostly off when a big storm for an hour, and we leave in the Central Chiang Rai postcode. We have weak power, the local transformer is 100 amp/phase and it serves maybe 30 houses. There are 6 large houses in our moo baan and probably about 50 A/C units. We were all on one phase until we kept blowing the fuse at the transformer. One evening the PEA maintenance van was stuck there shuffling fuses for an hour, new fuse and blown within 30 minutes. They moved our development to 2 houses per phase. We do have a problem with weak supply, not a massive issue but it's not ideal.
  19. This is all the cr?p the guy at my car wash removed
  20. The way of the world seems to be to replace nice, conventional instrument displays with one (Tesla) or two flat panels. I'm not a fan, I can't argue that they aren't functional, but I prefer them integrated into the dashboard in a more conventional but digital layout (preferably with acres of polished walnut). I like glass roof panels, but I would tint it anything up to 95% cut if it was too warm inside. I love the EX30's performance figures and the colours available for the interior. I am not a fan of NMC batteries, if you're planning on keeping your car 7 years or more then LFP is much more appropriate. That said, I am not sure it would be a deal breaker for me. On balance, I think I would go for the Seal AWD Performance over the Volvo, better interior, LFP batteries and superb dealer network.
  21. My mid-life crisis was a Honda (Acura) NSX at 40 years old. My wife hated it but I felt years younger.
  22. I like it, but then I'm partial to rear ends.
  23. I was wondering how long it would take you. Didn't your mother ever tell you, if you don't have anything nice to say then keep quiet?
  24. If anyone is interested this is my MG4. I chose the optional dealer fitted bodykit and black front badge, about an extra 13,000 baht.
