  1. Nonsense. If someone is going to make a statement like that, then they have to show their data, where is it? It has to be nonsense because with the exception of the famously faulty Nissan Leaf, there are no other EV's at 5 years old other than grey imports, and the data say the grey imports held their values very well.
  2. Well it's currently 5 times cheaper to charge at home than fill with petrol/diesel, so I think it's going to be some time before we see a 600% electric price hike.
  3. He is welcome to present his evidence. It's far too early to start saying anything about values at 5 years old. I think the only manufacturer backed EV was the Leaf? correct me if I am wrong.
  4. Sorry, but he is wrong. There is absolutely no evidence of that in Thailand. Used prices are holding up comparatively to ICE. I have sold 2 EV's, Macahoom has sold 1, it's not our experience whatsoever.
  5. You really should shut up, your ignorance is showing. Try researching battery pack longevity.
  6. It's normal in any new market, as it matures it shakes the tree and the weaker ones fall out.
  7. You're right, things are often not what they seem, you could be mistaken for an intelligent open-minded person, once you post, that myth disappears entirely.
  8. Which JB, there are two. My initials are actually JBC.
  9. Did you watch the video about the tear down of a BYD Seal? Disruptively high quality and low price was the verdict. BYD have not long been in Europe, they are nimble and not afraid to adjust pricing. I think they will do pretty well, they are a high quality product.
  10. I don't like people who lack manners or integrity, you have neither.
  11. You specifically asked for that video, someone spent a lot of time researching & finding it for you, and this is the best you can do?
  12. Come on, don't be a hypocrite, you're better than that. Tell us what you think about that video?
  13. Pish & Tosh Hydrogen cars in any format are 4 or 5 times more expensive per kilometer than EV’s. EV’s will always be the premium product.
  14. Udorn Medical Group if they are in Chiang Mai, they only do Mammograms, CT, MRI, Ultrasound & X-Ray. No other medical services provided. No doctors consultations, nada,
  15. The ones you see built into the ceiling usually have a large grill at the back where air is sucked in, often near the door to your room, and they chill the air and throw it out the front to cool the room. Because they are enclosed like this, they may never have been cleaned which would make them very inefficient, you could try cleaning it. The other thing to watch out for is what rate you are paying for electricity. It is illegal for any owner of 5 or more properties to charge more than the PEA/MEA rate and therefore make profit. If they are doing this then you have a problem, because if you complain they will probably cancel your lease.
  16. It was posted here, I think under the news section as it's own topic by one of journos here.
  17. That vehicle exploding was a movie stunt scene. Sterzel (sepentza) has no credibility and has had many of his facts overturned as fake. Don't believe YouTube! There was no fire, that was an air conditioning system leak due to a short circuit, what you could see was white fumes, at no point did anything catch fire and it happened in the part of the car shared with ordinary ICE vehicles. Yes, the footage in that video is fake. The statistics are clear, EV's are between 13 and 140 times less likely to catch fire than an ICE. Do electric cars pose a greater fire risk than petrol or diesel vehicles? | Automotive industry | The Guardian
  18. was it JP Morgan? It was one of the big American financial firms who paid experts to rip a BYD Seal apart, and then they informed German manufacturers that they were in trouble, big trouble, because the Chinese car was incredibly well-made and very high-quality.
  19. you’re absolutely right, there is a world of difference
  20. And long may they continue disrupting the Legacy ICE market. Giving consumers a choice of quality new energy vehicles
