ICE vs EV, the debate thread
I think you also hold a patent in the chemical field, if I am not mistaking you for someone else

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
I will be sure to tell you. Had my car not been under warranty, my two repairs would’ve been expensive, over ฿100,000 alone in transport costs.

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
True but partial information. It’s also much more stable than other Lithium battery types like Lithium Ion or NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) to the layman if you don’t understand chemistry.

Goethe also said “Nothing is more terrible than to see ignorance in action” Try an EV to remove that ignorance.

Cheapest condos in Phayao or Chiang Rai
Generally, hold value. They did go up a lot about 10 years ago, when the chairman of the committee began a project of upgrading the public face of and facilities at the building, but that stopped when he resigned.

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
I already did. My other new EV had to be collected and taken to BKK twice to repair failed air-con. i think I said our two MG EV’s were the first new cars we have ever had without a defect to be fixed under warranty.

Google? Yes right……

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
Yes it could happen. It keeps me awake at night. I need to see a shrink about it. There is another advantage in running an EV if you have an integral garage at your house. When you arrive at the house and close the garage door, there is very little heat given off the car, whereas if you’re driving an ICE car, then the heat will go up into your house and rooms above the garage.

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
This thread is about ICE vs. EV I think we have all owned ICE vehicles If you haven’t owned or driven an EV then you should, then you can contribute from knowledge instead of ignorance, mostly prejudicial ignorance, from what I read.

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
I used the word in it’s dictionary definition, not as an insult. Perfectly clear, you can always ask me for clarification if you don’t understand, rather than jump to conclusions.

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
Other than arson, is there any kind of vehicle fire other than spontaneous? Do your own googling, or read the other thread here. I am not going to do it for you. It’s all out there.

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
I use the word ignorant, referring to people who are anti-EV whilst ignorant of the experience of driving one
-
ICE vs EV, the debate thread
There is a whole thread on this forum about EV fires with dozens of links, here is just one https://electrek.co/2022/01/12/government-data-shows-gasoline-vehicles-are-significantly-more-prone-to-fires-than-evs/

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
Yawn! read the government statistics, between 60 and 130 times more often than EV cars.

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
No I just don’t like bigoted scaremongering from ignorant anti-EV’ers

Cheapest condos in Phayao or Chiang Rai
You can buy a room in the Chiang Rai Condotel in your budget. Great location, nice cheap restaurant on site, swimming pool. some of the cheaper rooms need renovating though, it’s a popular choice for foreigners. inquire at reception or look at the noticeboard next to the lift. I have never stayed there, but I know a lot of people who have.

My Landlord Stop Me from Leaving the Country
I had Tax office investigate me last year, passed it over to my accountant and it was handled amicably, nothing due as we file every year. It was another farang who, annoyed that I wouldn’t loan him a few hundred thousand baht, called the tax office before he returned to his native Australia.

My Landlord Stop Me from Leaving the Country
I’ve had tenants leave early and forfeit deposit, never had damage.
