Will tourism in Thailand bounce back from Covid differently?

Yeah. No one is on the beach nor at a bar or "disco" with a mask on. -
Plan to make COVID-19 endemic disease in Thailand from July 1 approved

Many countries are already starting to. Thailand wouldn’t be the first. -
People just seem oblivious to how the employment system works all over the world. It is pretty much the same all over. In the US, to work you need a H1B1 visa which is only given to those with sponsorships and in skilled positions. The other way is to become a permanent resident and then you can work anywhere you want. Sure there are many illegals working. However, if you get caught, you get deported. If you are working without a working permit, you get deported.

They have to realize that in order for Covid to become endemic, everyone needs to get infected. The unvaccinated will need to avoid crowds. Lots of seft testing and self isolation needs to be encouraged. At home, about 80% of my friends, who were triple vaxxed, got omnicron and a majority recovered with minimal symptoms. When this happens, cases will peak and drop down drastically.

Will Western tourists ever go off visiting Thailand?
hioctane replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Regardless of how easy or hard it is to enter, many places are still closed. The average tourist would be disappointed anyway. Only the hardcore Thailand lovers are going in under these conditions. -
"Patients who are symptomatic or who have mild symptoms being treated in hospital or in home isolation and are without doctor’s certificate stating the need for treatment in such facilities will not be covered by the medical care or compensation scheme." This is common sense! I don't know if the wording is off but it sounds like it is saying that a doctor must consider it "medically necessary" in addition to testing positive. I don't know why people would want to but it sounds like there are overly paranoid people who want to be treated just because they are positive (even with no symptoms).
