  1. Obviously you don’t understand the basic principle that a law cannot be broken if the law isn’t in place at the time. The lockdown rules were changed more than once, thee rules in place at the time of Johnson’s partying were not the same as those at the time of Starmer’s work related event.
  2. These numbers will change as the main news channels move to covering Trump’s crimes and trials. The GOP need to find another candidate.
  3. “Document No. 19 Formerly Restricted Data concerning nuclear weaponry of the United States.” Now, why did he want to hold in to this and who had access to it?
  4. He’s just been on FOX running his mouth again and destroying reasonable doubt arguments by the minute. Trump’s mouth is an evidence rich environment. Give him a ‘gag order’? Nah, give him a stage a microphone and cameras to capture the flow of self incriminating statements as they flow.
  5. Now you are giving me lectures on logic. Members who actually know me will find that as amusing as I do.
  6. The problem with your attempt of whataboutary is you fail to tell us what these ‘a lot worse things going on’ were. People being denied visits to dying loved ones or to attend funerals of family members while parties were being held at Conservative Party HQ would be my punt.
  7. The video under discussion reveals the attitude of those on camera towards the rules the rest of the nation was subjected to. Starmer doesn’t make an appearance.
  8. Back to Law 101 class you go Johnny. Innocent until proven guilty. …… Corruption in the Met is a matter of public record. https://lordslibrary.parliament.uk/crime-and-misconduct-within-the-metropolitan-police/
  9. Don’t let the facts of the Police inquiry get in the way of your need for a baseless conspiracy: https://www.durham.police.uk/News/News-Articles/2022/July/Durham-Constabulary-press-statement.aspx
  10. On the basis of your own assumptions I don’t think it’s even worth wasting time trying.
  11. That’s a fall lasting around 1 minute 15 seconds. Long enough to ponder the impact.
  12. The population density in Sweden is 25/km^2, while that of the UK is 281/km^2.
  13. Obviously you don’t understand my juxtaposition of the rules applied to the general public and the partying of the Conservative Party staff. Or you choose not to.
  14. Does groping meet the definition of sexual battery? If so then groping is sexual battery regardless of rape. But surely Trump has more pressing legal to deal with, perhaps not, perhaps he really can’t stomach a woman standing up to him.
  15. Since you mention the British Fishing Industry. How’s that going post Brexit?
  16. Yet more ‘Starmer’ whataboutary. Unfortunately for the whataboutary merchants, Durham police found no breach of the rules: https://www.durham.police.uk/News/News-Articles/2022/July/Durham-Constabulary-press-statement.aspx
  17. ‘Slavishly following the rules’ Like being denied visits to dying loved ones, or being denied attending funerals of family members.
  18. It will be interesting to see who amongst the Tories votes which way and how many abstain or simply don’t turn up. The Party of Law and Order.
  19. The video is problematic digit a number of reasons. Firstly the party is clearly in breach of the law, and yes I know the sulkers amongst us don’t like the law, but we none of us get to choose which laws are applicable to us, but not applicable to others. The evidence of members and staff of the governing political party doing that is of obvious public concern. Secondly the people at the party can be heard discussing the fact they know they are breaking the lockdown, no ignorance here, they are acting in flagrant disregard, obviously something of public concern. But it goes on. This Party is not at Downing Street, it’s at Conservative Party HQ, clearly a disregard for the laws and rules applied to the public are are not considered to apply to the Governing Tory Party, this is of obvious public concern, especially to those that vote. Two people caught in this party video are among the already widely criticized ’Johnson Honors List’. Honors being handed out to people personally caught in flagrant breach of the lockdown is is of obvious public concern. The video was reviewed by Metropolitan Police who took no action, this needs explanation beyond the already confirmed evidence of corruption in the Met., this is of obvious public concern. The message is clear, the Governing Party are making rules for everyone else that they themselves do not follow. Roll on the Bye-Elections so we can get a taste of what the General Election has in store.
  20. But….but…but whatabout this totally unrelated and proven legal behavior by others?! The difference and the reason why none of that was breaking any rules or laws has been explained to you in a number of occasions.
  21. Nonsense, the UK had a veto and was a significant contributor to EU regulations laws and standards.
