Antisemitism has always existed within the extremes left and right of the political spectrum. Keir Starmer is the leader of the Labour Party and he has made clear statements and actions to root out antisemitism, his swift action to remove the whip from Abbott is an example.

The Labour Party has responded by immediately withdrawing the whip from Abbott and have announced a party investigation into her words and actions. Your earnest efforts to baselessly blame the whole of the Labour Party and its membership with the antisemitism and racism expressed by Abbott is noted.

I didn’t ignore it. It’s a historical report, the Labour Party have changed leadership, adopted the recommendations and expelled people the report identified as being guilty of antisemitism. You have nothing to back up your slur.

Abbot has had the whip removed and is now under Party investigation, these responses were immediate. No months hiding behind ‘due process’, no ‘Dither and Delay’. Immediate response from the a party that is not in the business of covering up and protecting its members from accountability for their own actions.
