  1. I’m looking forward to PMQ today.
  2. When I first came to work in Thailand foreigners were not permitted a Thai driver’s license or to own cars without individual sponsorship from a Government ministry, I got mine from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Back then if you saw a foreigner driving they were either Embassy staff, UN personnel or worked for one of a handful of MNCs. A foreigner driving a car back then was a rare sight and received next level courtesy and very rarely anything but a salute from traffic cops. Things change and they have done.
  3. Michael Cohen has been invited back for a second day of Testimony this Wednesday. I’m quite sure he’s loving it.
  4. He’s not a defendant until he indicted and at trial before a court of law.
  5. All you need to know is Transgender people are people. Human beings deserving the same rights as anyone else. Start from there, you won’t go far wrong.
  6. ‘Good publicity for Brexiteers’ Lousy publicity for Brexit. Even worse publicity for over twelve years of failed Tory Government. …….. From your link: ”Seaborne crossings aboard small boats by would-be refugees and migrants were rare before November 2018.[2][3] More commonly, they stowed away aboard trains, lorries or ferry boats, a technique that has become more difficult in recent years as British authorities have intensified searches of such vehicles.” So one again you are being disingenuous. Migration through the channel tunnel, a cross channel route, is not included in your link even though the switch in migration method has been from stowing aboard lorries, to traveling in small boats.
  7. Let’s all suspend reality and memory. Immigration wasn’t a key issue in the 2016 Brexit Leave campaigns. Or alternatively 2016 wasn’t more than three years ago. Or Mac is talking rubbish.
  8. “"I can announce that we will abolish the Dublin Regulation and we will replace it with a new European migration governance system. It will have common structures on asylum and return and it will have a new strong solidarity mechanism," van der Leyen told European lawmakers in Brussels.” Yes, replaced. What the EU aren’t doing is introducing new laws that break international treaties and international law.
  9. Migration Watch. Righty-o And I mean righty, extreme righty-o.
  10. Correct, a complete loss of control. Coincident with the UK ‘taking back control’ and leaving the Dublin Regulation.
  11. Over twelve years to get it right, and still failing. But true to form. It’s always somebody else’s fault.
  12. Well it’s not Marmite. Go on end the suspense, tell us.
  13. Understanding the meaning of signatory to a treaty is more my thing.
  14. I don’t have a lot. Perhaps you should look for causes of the failures amongst the Tories that has been in power for over twelve years.
  15. Treaties that the UK have signed up to are not ‘outside influences’. I very much look forward to the next Government.
  16. Let’s stick with who is, or at least should be, in control shall we. Saves you spending time imagining who ‘my lot’ are.
  17. Precisely. The Tories have had over twelve years to fix this, they’ve failed. But with an election in the offing and the Tories lagging Labour in polls out they come with fingers pointing at immigrants, and the ludicrous suggestion that they, the Tories, are going to somehow fix what they haven’t fixed for over a decade.
  18. I think you should do likewise, paying particular attention to the UK being a signatory.
  19. Nothing will happen before the election, the Government will continue to fail on immigration and Reform UK will benefit from the Government promoting their own failure on immigration.
  20. Try to think of a better argument for when you come back. Focus on who is in Government and supposedly in control with a massive Parliament majority.
  21. Sorry for sticking to the facts. He didn’t mention policies, he definitely did not mention Nazis. Rightwing fabricated outrage threw those into the pot.
  22. No, they’ve failed because their hair brained schemes failed. A Government with a massive majority in Parliament is not being held back by any opposition.
  23. Regardless, Lineker was referring to language used, not policy, not the Nazis.
  24. You seem to have missed history class.
