What a bizarre comment. Are you feeling ok? Their country has been utterly ravaged with hundreds of thousands slaughtered, so they could be forgiven for not showing sympathy in a timely manner.
this country has been going downhill for the last 24 years

And who was saying many years ago that it was not a good idea to allow Somchai borrow money to buy a new truck? Educated Thais and Expats. But no one listened and those making money were happy, and the Junta Govt said the economy was growing - what the problem?
And who is now saying it is not a good idea to allow certain people in for 90 days without a Visa just for short term economic gains? Educated Thais and Expats. But no one is listening and those making money off them are happy, and the Govt is saying the economy is growing - what the problem?
And on and on and on it goes - year after year, issue after issue. The inevitable end result is coming. Vietnam and Malaysia are eating Thailand's breakfast and Philippines is moving to get involved - soon they will all move on to the Thai lunch - and when they hit the Thai's dinner, it will be all over. And then it will be - what happenned? And then it will be a revolution. Maybe that is what is needed here.
There are people who work on a rotational basis. They have good money and few months holidays. So, it is not a bad opportunity to allow them to spend earned money in the Thailand.

Settling with the victim is a civil resolution but not necessarily a criminal resolution, ie., with the RTP. If a crime has been committed, the RTP must pursue an investigation to determine whether criminal prosecution is required.
Normally when a someone took the money it is mean that there is agreement to reconcile the conflict. Without a claim there is not a basis to continue a dispute.

As i remember the victim has took the money from this man i.e. the conflict has resolved. Why this thing still going on?

> They told me to bring 6 month bank statement showing 400k.
Perhaps it was some misunderstanding here. Even to get 1 year extension inside the country need to seasoning 400K during 2 months and then wait 30 days while consideration i.e. totally 3 months. What they may request it is showing current bank account balance is not less than this amount like in some other consulates.

As far i have visited this country the moods towards foreigners already changes at least 3 times. From placing hopes for they will arrive and bring the money to strange disaffection that they have came. It is like walking by circles. Looks like there is not a consolidated position just reaction on events.

I am reasonably sure there is more to this story than someone who has passed through immigration (and presumably paid overstay fines and received a blacklisting stamp) subsequently being arrested at the departure gate prior to leaving the country. There are several possible scenarios that come to mind, but just leaving via an international flight with a long overstay is not one of them.
In original text of the news was noted that him was catched in the "international departures hall": "The scene unfolded at the international departures hall, where dreams of escaping the consequences were dashed by the vigilant officers." Some sites corrected the content and deleted it. I do not think that it may be done after the border control.
-
Is there some law grounds that on a border control with an overstay you should be passed? i.e. is it possible to be deported instead of departure?
-
is it possible to open a bank account based on Thailand Elite visa?
Also is it allowed to stay 5 years in a row without leaving the country on this visa type?
Thanks.

1) I'd keep it on a decentralized wallet
2) try P2P
3) Once I am ready to cashout on a sizeable amount, I will look into countries I can open a business and get it out tax free.I used P2P few months and have got card blocked.

Many thais also choose South-Korea as destination for earning money. The one more point on the map where it may become a tragedy.

How does this news correlate with double taxes elimination agreements?
"Thailand currently has concluded 61 double tax agreements with countries around the world."
Will Thailand voiding these agreements? If yes, then Thai business ready to pay doubled taxes?
Perhaps, if i pay taxes in my home country, then nothing will be changed in 2024.

EV’s are anything but slow, you only need a charger when you are driving distance is more than half your car’s full range.
Yes, these cars may be fast and have a power but for short distance. As i remeber you have the car with 50KW battary, it is about 300KM with 80km/h speed, so on the motorway with 120-130 km/h it become 150-200 km. Bangkok Pattaya ~ 110 km, so round trip ~220, what about traffic jams and etc.. Not comfortable.

You don’t need any charging stations within 150km of your home, if you charge at home.
if you can’t charge at home then and EV is probably not for you yet.
Perhaps it is target auditory for EV cars - goes around 150 km around of home + installed 8kw charger at home + slow driving style. Looks uncomfortable for me.

Surely you aren't telling us EVs require 300 amp feed to properties!
Actually i am no againts to EV cars. In my opinion charging is still requires a lot of time (even 30 mins looks long), driving style (to save batarry charge) and poor infrustructure (around my location only 1-2 charger station works about stable, other closed for some reasons all the time) which caues looking for a charger which works (it also losing a time).

Even more it may differ year by year on the same immigration office.
I get adventures with paperwork every year ???? -

51 KwHr capacity
Generally I charge when about 50% and bring it to 80%, about 15KwHrs which takes 2 hours on my wallbox or 4 hours on any normal socket
Could go from 0-100% overnight, but a typcial strategy is ABC, always be charging in which case an hour a day, at night..
Actually you became attached to the wallbox in your home. Any day when need to pass 200-300 km on motorways may cause headache. Or you should to have a lot of free time to charge you car. It may be suitable between office or mall. 8kw still hard to find in many regions. Therefore my original post was about that 80kw should be easily accessible throughout the country.

Until an 80-kilowatt cable is installed in every home, the current level of batteries does not allow the comfortable use of electric vehicles.

i hope you did not measure skulls with proportional compass to determine is that race barbaric or not?
