I have been going with a thai lady, for a few years, she wants to marry me, I am not against the idea, but, her husband will not give her a divorce, does anyone know what her options are... Please, no other comments, except those that address what is asked, I am fully aware of the type of snide remarks that we get on these forums.

    Regards

Do you really need that? You might face similar problems—for example, your girlfriend might refuse to divorce you in the future. Just living together is enough. And no division of property

So this fault does not move very often —

    March 28, 2025: magnitude of 7.7 Mw

    - January 1990: magnitude of 7.0 Mw

    - February 1912: magnitude of 7.9 Mw

And only on this one occasion were there any problems 1500km distant from the epicentre.

condo developers are in the chat 😀

No it could not. To suffer devastation on this scale, the country or region needs to be close to the epicentre of the quake. There are no tectonic fault lines running through Thailand that could cause such a quake.

'Thailand sits on the Eurasian tectonic plate, which is flanked by the Indo-Australian and Pacific plates. While the country is located in a region that is relatively safe from earthquakes'.

The earthquake magnitude in Bangkok was in the range of 4.5 to 5.5.
So, what do you think would happen if a stronger earthquake occurred in this region?
For example, a magnitude 9.0+? It would be felt as a 6.0–7.0 magnitude earthquake in BKK. It would be a major disaster—and it's quite possible.

Mostly Thailand announces new rules/laws/guidelines, then never bothers to go any further. It's like they want to be part of the western new world order, but haven't got the enthusiasm to actually do anything but posture.

I doubt k bank will get around to more than the emails.

Let's remember the points system for drivers. Does it work? However, there has been a lot of discussion about it.

Why does all this mayhem constantly occur in Pattaya? What sort of people are drawn to this activity? How the hell do people actually manage to live there full time? My part of western Bangkok seems so utterly normal.

Anywhere with at least two or three bars or massage parlors tends to have its own set of rules near this place. The people there behave like charvers or troublemakers. Parking a car or simply walking by for your own reasons might provoke an attack. In some areas, these bars or massage parlors are located next to state institutions, sports grounds, or hospitals, making it quite difficult to avoid them.
