Lots of good reports in various threads here; I had Jenny from AA help me with O-A insurance, she was great.
I had the same problem and Jenny solved it. She was very helpful and through her I am now insured with CIGMA

No problem. I have done this several times with my Thai partner. Just make a plan of your trip as far as you can, places, dates etc in detail. It doesn't matter if you don't follow it when you arrive but helps you focus anyway. Then book the hotel's online but make sure they allow for free cancellation. Print off the bookings for your gf to show to immigration. Then after you arrive you can follow the trip you planned or part of it and cancel those bookings that you do not want to use. if you do cancel any then keep to within their deadlines for cancellation. The planning and booking need to be carefully thought through and dates and hotels listed when your gf applies for the Schengen. I never had a problem and actually usually stuck to the hotel bookings I made with few cancellations. Good luck.
Btw, I plan a trip to Munich next year - how are you flying there? I fancy Qatar.
If you are going to Austria, I highly recommend Salzburg and the Obersalzburg region nearby. Berchtesgarden and Hitler's Kehlsteinhaus in Bavaria are a must, as well as Neuschwanstein Castle! They are all just a quick trip across the German border.
I've used Chiang Mai - Munich twice. Even better than Emirates

In Nan it coincides with sundown to save electricity.
Off the point but Nan is a lovely place and probably the cleanest city in Thailand (and I felt completely safe there)

So do it... don't just talk about it.
Offer a 6 month amnesty, get documented no questions asked.
But then again who would trust Thailand.

There was a report in the Thai press last week that unregistered workers from Myanmar are already being allowed to register (forTHB 100 a pop) to enable vaccination/tracing.

I actually found this weeks more interesting than usual but that's just me

Me too. Sunday is a relaxed day and you have to the time to absorb more than just a soundbite (or wordbite).

I am wondering in which country do they use containers to block protesters ? ?? I think it is only THailand and the question remains what is so important behind the walls of containers?? They can't control with just watercanons, tear gaz and charges such as they do in "normal" countries?? I n Thailand it looks like a war zone
Pakistan did.

I thought it was proved that Sinovac was only appropriate 13.5% effective against the Delta strain..... Or is the report to please the Chinese, as they were not happy that people don't trust Sinovac...
The press reported two days ago that Brazil had withdrawn Sinovac as an authorised vaccination product.

One useful side effect should be a reduction in evaporation of much needed water from the reservoirs.

According to several reports, one popular reform suggestion is that the police should begin allowing the public to pay bribes using credit cards.
It'll never work -too easy to trace.

That 4 purportedly based in Thailand have made it as far as human trials is positive news. That even one eventually proves viable efficacy etc is one step closer to equitable provision of protection for those who choose it.
I agree - why are so many posters condescendingly denigrating Thailand's efforts to provide healthcare at a time of vaccine famine?

Unfortunately there are no real journalists in Thailand to question these clowns about whether a request has been made to Interpol for his arrest and extradition
Utter nonsense - just look at a few articles in Khaosod English (for a start). There you will find plenty of professional and courageous journalism.

Check out the pre-fabricated homes on google. Some are imported from China and the choice is huge; the prices reasonable.

Well it is good news in a way, but I am concerned about putting 100% down on this.
I agree but I'm even more worried about having to wait until October and the uncontrolled infections hitting Chiang Mai from Bangkok.
