Not if you leave from either airport in Bangkok (BKK or DMK). At other airports and at land border crossing you will be fined 500 baht.
quite true. I just wanted to minimize the importance of stamp or whatever.

Immigration officer said to be involved in kidnapping of tourist
Wouldn't be surprised

Nope, you have to pay 500 THB for sure.

I think the main reason is that the European tourists do not come. Some years ago Thailand was dirty cheap for any European, but now they have to consider if they allow to come.
Chinese tourists come by organized tours, thus it is not a big deal, but considering their number ......

Sometime before I went to Penang for managing my visa. I have never ever had any problems there. Now Kota Bharu is far much closer than Penang. The embassy here is even friendlier and they really want to help you. Not many applicants, so the waiting time there is much shorter.
Cons; no mobile copy in front of the embassy, you need to walk 2 minutes to the opposite side of the road.
2, Kota Bharu is very boring.
Kota Bharu has acceptable hotels from 350 THB.
The best way to go there is by train through Sungai Kolok (from Phatthalung could be 56 Baht) and direct bus to Kota Bharu 5 local money.
The train travels through Deep South, but it is not usual to bomb trains and the train has travelling soldiers, checking everything 555.- 1

I like your post.
I may have amended it a bit to read "The Thai education system MAY BE BAD BUT AT LEAST IT IS EXPENSIVE!"
Again, I like this I know it was a simple accident but it's purfect "having goof connections."
Sorry, my fat fingers 5555

I'd say the one's whose parents have something valuable to pawn are the lucky ones. Some have nothing, and resort to loans at high interest from the local sharks.
Not to mention that twice daily, thousands of students risk their lives on the roads to get an education that's going to give them barely a survival wage.
Shame on the successive governments that have failed to address this national problem.
Do you know Thai governments in Thailand who were successful especially in education

Corrupt cops in Thailand? Impossible. Thais do not do this

Thai edication system is not only bad, but very expensive for everybody. Gov spends the highest amounts of money in the Ssran, where these funds can disappear, expensive for the parents and students too.we spend a lot for uniforms for example,
absolutely inproductive. As someone said, finishing the students' education he will get monimal salary, unless having goof connections.

Good point.
OP, you were clearly to blame.. you must have been dressed like a gay. You must have been too clean and have brushed you teeth, hair and had a shower and a shave.
If you were a real man you would be sweaty, smelly, greasy hair and wearing dirty ill fitting clothes.
So, you were asking for it!
Seriously, you can not have been too bothered by the experience, otherwise you would have woken the girl up to stop the guy.. or throw him off at the next stop.
3LOL Believe me, after travelling 10 hours before sitting on this train, I was exactly a man, sweaty, smelly. Grazy hair was impossible after I made it cut to half of a centimetre, but my cloth was perfectly dirty.

Once it came to me that one of the Eastern Block armies used 2 GB memory. They were really successful in their work and since it was after the official "cold war" their colleagues from the West was really interested to know their work.
They wanted to extend their memory by another 2 GB

Some English books used asking about cd players and other obsolete gadgets (Super Minds). One thing is the floppy, but a lot of Thai students have no idea about basic issues in our life, like, what is the capital of Malaysia, or Singapore in South Thailand. History knowledge, even if it is a history of Thailand tending to zero. English, we all know. Why is it surprising they do not know what is a vinyl record?

Why not dash-cams should be made compulsory for expensive cars, so that their speeds can be assessed by police in case of accidents.
why limited to the expensive cars? A dash cam costs about 2-3000 Baht in a shop. In case of a big order, the price should be far much cheaper. anyhow, 3000 Baht is not a serious money when buying a car.

What is wrong in this? There is a good portion of the population speaking Chinese.

as far as I know from my friends at Phuket and that area. Chinese have package tours, they maximum have one dinner out. They do not like to pay to the local tourist agencies or so. I think Thais should pay more efforts to cope with the new tourist challenge.
Did the Book says something on Yellow Peril?5555555

I don't know what happened here, but I always wondered about the ways Thai riders change lines. They never turn back to see if anybody behind them and they can surely not check from the mirror of the bike either. I could see a lot of kamikazes changing the slow line to the fast-line on the highway. Playing with their mobile is absolutely normal.
I think calculating these habits we do not have too many accidents in Thailand, especially when we know that they are really good at riding a bike. An average Thai woman is able to deliver a baby with complications when riding a bike.
Investing to an onboard camera or just using your old mobile is an excellent idea.

Getting and the conditions of Visa, immigration AND Work Permit are the biggest sorrow, together with 90 days nonsense of course.
Another issue is whatever you want to manage in a governmental office you surely will have another information than in another office, say 50 meters away.

There is one preventive measure I can recommend, though - whenever possible sit next to a woman.
Thai railways invented a system which allows to the ticket office to sit families together AND man to man, woman to woman. Great, this can be a gold mine for sexually unstraight folks 5555 Like this case

"Train assistant was sleeping in the last car, as it is usual".
How did you know that, did you go there and see her sleeping? If you did, why didn't you wake her and ask for assistance?
I saw her. I am a polite man... .basicaly, let her sleep. On the other hand, I considered to fairly childish crying for help to a small lady with my 90 kilos

RIP to to lady
Stay at the scene for a while for example. This guy shouldn't be an excellent actor, thus, I just suppose, police may see him upset. Since the police were called to a possible crime scene they may ask the guy to go to the police. Not arrest him, as he had not committed a crime but escort him to the station giving him time to reconsider the matter.
