Well, as people are starting photoshopping official document we are going to be in a deep mess. For one it illegal to tamper with these Covid Pass, secondly once they realise that not one country in Europe issues these certificates without any mention of passport number , will they slam the applicant with an interdiction to visit the Kingdom ?
Right. In the U.S. it is a federal crime to alter a vaccine document.
My pre-flight PCR test probably won't have my passport number on it, either. But, I will provide the certificate of such along with me standing there holding my passport at the check-in. That should suffice. Same with the vaccine certificate.

Has anyone gotten their vaccination certificate (lacking passport number) accepted without altering it via Photoshop?

Anyone had their vaccine certificate accepted without their passport number photoshopped onto it?

Si I have figured this out on my IPhone. It is running on IOS 15 (latest)….
Thanks to everyone on this thread, I was able to pull this off for my husband.
Step one: Download Google Chrome on IPhone.
Step two: Make a Gmail account to add to TP.Step three: Take Shaba booking and Prepaid pcr test and make a double collage. Send screenshots of all documents needed to gmail account. This is to make it fit and can be seen clearly.
Step four: Download all 4 images from gmail account to photo gallery on iPhone.
Step five: Go to TP website, fill in passport and add a space at the end when putting in number. Add all images and put info as should.
Step six: press submit.
Step seven: received instant notification thru new gmail account that application was received! Time stamp of email is 1121 utc-4. The moment I receive an email with an update, I will let all know on this thread.
So we can all have a rough estimate on timing. I hope this works for all as frustrating as this may be. Thank you again for everyone’s insight!Wow! They have made the Thailand Pass so easy to use! Can see many tourists using it and traveling to Thailand, soon!

Are you sure? I had understood it was 72 hours before arrival.
Your confusion is understandable. Like most things communicated by the authorities, there has been conflicting information released. The reality is: you need your pre-flight test to have been taken less than 72 hours of the departure of your first international flight out of your place of origin.

I think any issuing body is being shortsighted by not putting such details on a Vaccine Certificate, especially as such a document is clearly important for international travel.
Many people want to get vaccinated but don't even have a passport or have intentions to travel (esp now). When I got my oil changed in my car recently, I didn't ask the mechanic to put my passport number on the receipt as at that time, I had no reason to believe that some government agency would in the future want to see that receipt with my passport number on it.
The vaccine card has my identifying information on it. It is my valid certificate showing I was vaccinated. My passport also identifies me. They can hold them alongside each other and deduce that I am me, I have a valid passport, and I have been vaccinated. No need to write all information on all things everywhere all the time. That's why we submit separate documents rather than one big personal data document.

This is a circus. Crazy that people are having to hack their browsers to interact with the Thailand Pass and doctor their vaccination certificates to get them accepted. Truly insane.

If they can get the Thailand Pass to accept their documents, they can come.

Looks like lack of forward thinking and coordination. According to this source, which is "the mission of Thailand to the European Union", the following is required:
https://www.thaiembassy.be/2021/07/14/sandbox/?lang=en
" Vaccination certificate
EU digital COVID-19 Certificates for both doses [except Janssen (Johnson and Johnson)] [Full pages clearly indicating details of names, vaccine names, and date of vaccination] or Local vaccination card or card from a vaccine company that clearly indicate details of names, vaccine names, and date of vaccination for both doses [except Janssen]
EU recovery certificate/ Medical certificate confirming COVID-19 infection record and EU digital COVID-19 Certificate for one dose
***Please be noted that the proof of vaccination is verified by the Public Health officers in Thailand"No mentions of passport numbers and nationality.
It seems one does need the 2 certificates issued, one for the first dose, and the second, the completed green certificate. Most of the people travelling within Europe use only the green one, they do need both, as the dates for the doses are on the different certificates.
My clinic gave me one certificate with the first dose and just wrote the second dose on the same piece of paper. No passport number noted.

OK lets' assume that 4 years is a CORRECT assumption.
To hit that pre pandemic target ALL restrictions and entry requirements would have to be dropped - 32 MILLION tourists are not going to do all the nonsense to get there , let alone the demand on the 'Thai pass' overloading
The question then becomes, at what stage and when will they drop this total nonsense ?
The number of tourists in Thailand 2020 was about 6.7 million, so fair to say they will be thinking 10 million tourists up next year. That is simply not possible at the current rate of applications.
To hit 10 million up next year, and seeing the terrible arrivals on the thai pass, entry restrictions would have to be totally abandoned by March.
So, again , when will it be abandoned ?
I would also not be surprised to see a full opening prior to a pre summer election next year - trying to run an election platform on an economy in the toilet with no financial improvement on the horizon in any other country would be suicide politically - at least where you cannot remove the opposition
My guess is it will be abandoned if/when China allows travelers to Thailand.
On your last point: they could always put off the elections or remove the opposition.

I know but thai not, you can read it also as requirement under thailand pass process under vaccain site and my pass was rejected today about this
So <deleted>-ing stupid. Not everyone even has a passport esp in the U.S. They think that anyone getting vaccinated who plans on traveling to Thailand will magically know that they have to get a passport before getting vaccinated and have the clinic write their passport number on their certificate?

To you who have received your QR codes, what happens if you Scan it with a QR scanner? Can you see any information?
Maybe we are not supposed to see any information there, due to privacy? Maybe the QR code only works for official use?
Seems like the actual QR code would be visible to you. How else could they scan it off your phone?

More than 500 baht per night? Truly shocking!
I have an apartment in Bangkok. So, my first night would cost me no more than I am already paying. As it is, I will pay 6k baht more for my first night back in Bangkok.

861 baht isn't cheap when we can stay at our own place.
I don't think we are allowed to stay at our own place for the first night.
Right. You first have to do one or two nights in the quarantine that is not a quarantine.

This is a <deleted> show! The COE was bad. This is near impossible without a lot of perserverence and tech skills (not to mention all of us now holding our breath worried about hackers getting into such an obviously insecure system). Can't see tourists flooding in.
