Have a friend arriving on the 26th , i warned him about the hospital quaratine scam and he said...i have insurance???? single guy from germany they will most likely use this government designed scam, Have sent the video warning people not to come to thailand, will see what happens.

made a few burmese friends here and found close ones very trust worthy, one i loaned money too when he was in dire straights and another brit friend and his thai wife said... you will never get it back, he came and said sorry he did,nt have the money to pay me back a few times, low and behold i never even had to ask, he came around with cash in hand and a bag of leos some months later.

When i first arrived i tried living in a couple of condos near the center of bkk, the whistlers drove me away then i found renting houses was much cheaper renting condos anyway,

Never owned a BMW but in europe i had a job and lifestyle which involved a lot of travel autobahn and highways, i was paid for work travel by km, i drove mercedes diesels and would buy them 2nd hand with god knows how many km for little money then hammer them across europe with mostly the only maintenance being oil changes, the moment they started going wrong i would just scrap it or sell to an albanian and buy the next one, I found the 5-6 cylinder diesel 300D to be the most reliable.... never paid more than 1000euro for one.

On another note i paid 5500bht for my gf to got to a driving school and get her car licence, after 10 days she got her licence and still cant drive, its scary they let people out on the roads like that!

No matter what its called i could'nt be bothered to fly back to the uk to get one so said f.... it and just did the whole licence from start to finish, no big deal as i had both car and motorcycle in 1 day, No idea why you guys would even argue what its called.

Took a friend of mine together with his idl to get a thai licence he speaks reads and writes perfect thai so i left it to him and only took him as he did,nt know where to go, while he was going from window to window with his forms i noticed one girl was asking him questions, (i thought oh no he forgot something) when i asked he told she asked why he did,nt get his motorcycle licence at the same time ( brit licence has a pic of a moped which i believe allows us to ride upto 50cc) later at home drinking a beer he showed me the motorcycle licence and asked...what does this allow me to do? I said it means you can got out and buy a 1000cc sawakaki and ride legally to which he replied... but i never even sat on a scooter before!

I still cant understand what advantage a nomad visa would have

a member of a people who have no fixed residence but move from place to place Obviously any visa they design will not be intended for nomads
