Hydrogen fuel cells (HFC) are the future. EVs will die out slowly as the infrastructure is too great and complicated to support it. Imagine, in the UK for example, where street parking is very common; how can you have a charger in place for every car on the street? It’s nigh on impossible. And used batteries are hardly ‘green’. Toyota are investing massively in HFC technology and is also the main reason why Honda are pulling out of F1; to focus on HFC development. They’re doing it for a reason.  Plus, current fuel stations can easily be converted to provide hydrogen.

5k. a month. says it all really. wont even ask what or where you get for that. but you seem settled & happy there. which is all that matters for a home really. so thats the deal of the century then. less than my 7k Common Fund ! you can own leasehold or with thai company.  but not economic at that level ……

At the moment a very large nice 3 bedroom bungalow in the quiet burbs of bkk, wonderful and in some ways a hiso area 6k rent

BTW i enjoy moving every few years, if i owned anywhere that would,nt be so easy

“Been renting 16 years now and never a bad experience”

except 4-5 million baht lost rent ? but avoided Dead Capital I know. and not having your own home to cherish / extend/ renovate/ decorate / furnish / sell / rent out.

how does 5k per month work out to 4-5 million?

Thing is a condo is of no use to me and as i cant own a house renting was the only option

Who pays 6 or 12 months rent in advance, in Thailand. That was the biggest mistake. Just asking for someone to take it and run. Under English law you might be able to argue the agent was acting on behalf of the owner but here just not worth the cost of taking it through the courts. What was the loss @50,000 baht?

I rent houses always and pay 6-12 months in advance, its worth it really

You haven't said what you went to B-Quik for...????

B-Quik use Bendix brake parts, they advertise that...????

You have heard many reports from other customers complaining...????

i went to b-quik because my rear brake lights were on, yes i have heard reports of similar cases from other customers and non om parts

Tell me the problem you had at B-Quik...?

    I will pass it on...????

First thing they will do is put your car on a lift and take the wheels off, after that they will start offering to exchange parts which are in perfect order, they changed my brake disks with non om parts and after i ended up with the front brakes on fire and locked up, this happened 3 times untill they skimmed the disks down to the original thickness,

after this i just dont trust them and have heard many reports from other customers complaining ,

i would'nt trust them with a peddle car now

Ah yes ofcourse coolant too. It's an automatics yes.
Will have the car serviced and the tyres checked for cracks and flat spots. I don't know if i can trust B-quik on that matter though, they'll probably recommend new tyres.

stay away from b- quik their intent is to empty your wallet only, buy tires on lazada and let the local rubber smith change them,

what has any of that got to do with this case - the foreigner didn't have a gun and didn't shoot anyone, in fact it was quite the opposite

Rather be taken to trial then taken to the crematorium if some thug entered my home and tried to kill me before I succesfully defended myself and he or she ended up facing their maker either in hell or at the pearly gates.

i have a dog who would in this case protect me and his property, if an intruder would get past the dog then they meet me with a number 7 golf bat

So the story gets twisted Thai style.

The wife has a boy-friend who jumps the fence and threatens the Swiss farang with a deadly weapon - a revolver.  The Swiss farang defends himself, disarms the attacker, and ties him up for the police.  Attacker dies.  Swiss farang is now a terrible person deserving of jail and whatever hell the Thai legal system can throw at him while cheered on by the attacker's family and the Thai public.  He's obviously a guilty bad-man because his wife and the attacker were screwing behind his back and ripping off his wealth.  So the entire affair is the Swiss farang's fault and he should be thrown into a prison for the rest of his life - or pay the family his life savings.  Anyway you cut it, the Swiss farang is guilty as hell and the authorities will find something to pin on him in the name of "justice."
Does that sound about right?  Yeah?
Why do I think he was the only victim?

I reckon in the next days the cops will have him in the station jamming bags over his head demanding money
