Fact is if you ask 10 different employees maybe you get 10 different answers.

Wait, what?
In a country where I had to wear slippers because my Mac keyboard would shock me?
Maybe if all electricians were certified and there were actual standards for them to follow, this, and a multitude of other deaths, would be avoided.
Perhaps the poor sod who died had done a DIY on his home electrical with no safety cut etc? So we blame the appliances?
I had to have a rubber mat in front of the fridge for years to avoid shocks... 3 pin sockets all around the house but nothing connected to earth, Even connecting the canon camera by usb would result in a shock.

I am hetro and am attracted to ladyboys. They are (in general) more attractive than girls, better figures, better dressed, more attentive. I am willing to overlook the odd drawback.
Curious if you are a shirt lifter or pillow bitter, honestly just curious

The number 8 bus drivers are renowned for their atrocious driving. I was on a number 8 a few months ago where the conductor was knocked to the floor by the weaving in and out, and sudden braking by the driver. As she went head over tea kettle, spilling coins and tickets, the driver turn around and scolded her. I now avoid the number 8.
Bus number 8 was infact featured on the computer game GTA
I see busses here not just racing but running red lights at high speed, driving without lights and even only having holes in the body where the lights should be.

It's their country and it doesn't have to make sense to us.
We can understand tourists who are just short-term visitors but why exclude retirees who are on at least one year visa.
LOL. They want, IMO, short term tourists that come spend and go away. They don't want, IMO, those that stay and stay and stay.
BTW, anyone on a visa is a guest and has no rights of permanency.
i think their preference would be tourists who arrive leave their money at the airport then turn and fly home

This is what id do, make an app just like a tm card, youll be on the plane already and once landing itll be available to download in the airport and a requirement on entry prior to getting through immigration. To do it to the population one way would be to make it a legal requirement by mobile providers to provide the app at a level of the id and data contract. Im sure there are other simple methods and its only going to get easier to sync where you are at all times.
The only people it might e hard to track are those with a simple dumb phone but that % is going down every year so even that is a diminishing demographic.. in 20 years the tech will be inside the human body mark my words.
And dont think Thailand's incompetent leadership wont be able to because it will simply buy and install the tech required just like it does everything else. And 5 g will only make it easier.
Not that there will be anywhere in the developed world that wont be doing the same, Enjoy your time of privacy because in the future there will be very little. And to those born in the future it will be 100% normal and all they will know... cant miss what youve never had and today will just become another history lesson of how strange and dumb people were in the early 21st century who resisted it....
Can you explain what happens to people like myself who have a smart phone but no data plan? Also often when going out i never think to take my phone.

a too had a disgusting experience last week
though the bill wasnt huge, I asked if my insurance covered the treatment, they confirmed to me both on the phone and at reception, before doing a uturn afterwards saying my insurance didn't cover it and asked me to pay. I walked out refusing to pay and they called me offering to halve the bill.
government hospitals are the way to do it. these private hospitals should be named and shamed for the scams they perform
Government hospitals in my experience will also try to scam you by going to any length to keep you in their bed,
I spent a week in such a hospital and never seen a doctor, in the end i signed myself out,

Renting 4 different houses over 15 years i lost count of the electric shocks i had, One was only 4 years old with 3 pin sockets, Not even an earth cable behind any socket,
It was necessary to stand on a rubber matt to open the fridge.

If I was a betting man, I'd wager the odds for a mandated vaccination required for any foreigner wishing to process a yearly extension to stay would be sure odds.
And probably an avoided requirement through an agent for a 500bht note, remember where you are.

Have you ever wondered what that crater shaped scar on you arm is? That is from a small pox vaccine.
Never met anyone who didn’t have a small pox scar.
I do not have one but remember lots of kids around me having the scar you speak of.

Well AFAIK it is made out of viral material that causes your immune system to react and learn from it. Perhaps your system overreacts. I haven't taken any flu shots nor will I until I hit 100y. My system seems to be battling the usual suspects just fine.
Two of the nurses in the clinic also have the same reaction to the vaccine.

I work the the medical industry (when i can travel to work) i'm suspect of all vaccines for the simple reason 5 times i have had the anti flu vaccine i came down just days after with very serious influenza which laid me out for a week or so.
