  1. I have dealt with other 400 web site designs over the past 7 years - Depending on the niche/product/service, we sometimes design sites that look very "amateurish" as sometimes they "connect" with the visitors a little better. The does exactly what it's meant to do - good luck!

  2. Hi all,

Anyone got some ideas where serves the best xmas dinner in bkk?

I don't mind paying extra for top service/food.

Anyone had experieces of eating xmas dinner at one of the top hotels?

There will be 6 lads, just want some good food/wine then we'll go onto party somewhere else.

    Thanks.

  3. Hi all,

We are nearly ready to roll out our web site (just waiting for the pictures) to promote our charity: offering Thai kids in poor rural areas of Thailand backpacks for school, which contain books and stationary.

I'm not that good with my camera, so was hoping someone wouldn't mind donating a few hours of their time to take some high quality images of the back-packs and there contents.

If you are interested, I can either meet you in Bangkok to hand over a sample back-pack or can post to you if you are outside Bangkok.

Please PM me if you are good with your camera and would like to help this worthy cause.

  4. All these replies make me laugh... you need xxx amount, struggle for a few months, need to live like a Thai, don't do it, same reason people commit suicide - what loosers! I bet their not even living in Thailand or so dumb that they got mugged off left right and center.

If your old enough to work, your old enough to just come on over here and learn for yourself! Make sure you have enough money for a couple of weeks and a return airfare, buy the bangkok post every day and everything will sort it self out :o

If I had read the above before I made the decision to move out here, it would have put me right off. Having moved over here on my own with no friends/family/support/job at 20, you can do it too :D

  5. I've got a client visiting me in a month and he suggested I take him to a golf course. He's my biggest client so I will oblige.

None of my friends here in Bangkok seem to be up for it, so was thinking perhaps I could pull a small group together here.

From reading the threads, it looks like it's best to go during weekdays as it's less busy. I'm open to suggestions what course to play on, as long as I can go/return to Bangkok in the same day.

I've never played golf before, so perhaps best if you are patient or are a newbie too!

Post here or PM me if you might be interested.

    Cheers!

  6. I'm in desperate need of a credit/debit card via a Thai bank inorder to set up paypal with my business account.

I visited Bangkok Bank today and they said they can only issue me a credit card if I take 3 of them, stupid as it sounds I'm only in need of one.

My question is, Does anyone know where I can get a credit or debit card with a business account via a Thai based bank?

    Thanks in advance.

  7. My Thai girlfriend is interested in learning how to cook professionally and is interested in learning on an extended program, rather than a 10 day course aimed at tourists.

Does anyone know where we could start looking? Do collages/uni's offer such programs? We are based in Bangkok.

    Thanks.

  8. After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided to start looking for an investor to help me fund a project I’ve been researching over the last 6 months. The project is on-line based, will require $20,000 and 22 Thai staff.

This project is ideal for someone who wishes to get involved with a project here in Bangkok, Thailand as there is scope for hands on involvement with also a work permit/business visa.

If you are interested in discussing this further, please PM me your contact details along with a short description about your working background and what experience other than capitol you can bring to the table.

  9. Hi all,

I'm going to hire a car from Bangkok and rive up to Mukdahan with the car full of friends. I'm coming back to Bangkok alone and would prefer to fly rather than drive all the way back on my own.

Budget car rental offer pick up from bangkok and drop off in either Khon Kaen or Ubon Ratchathani - Which one is closer from Mukdahan?

I also know that 2 closer airports to Mukdahan: Nakhon Phanom and Sakon Nakhon would be far better option but can't find any car hire companies that allow me to pick the car up from Bangkok and drop it off near the airport - Do you know if there are any car rentals that do this?

I'm leaving on Tuesday and want to return to Bangkok on Thursday so don't have much time to book the car/flight :o

    Any help is much appreciated.
