Was on a Chinese tour group once “suggest not do it” with Chinese 

when I lived in China. I wondered about the tour guide on the If was legal ...

survived the tour but tough skinned it sucked.... did see some nice 

places which was a positive. 

One evening wife said you’re not going to like the first stop before dinner. No English was spoke I was only non Chinese. It was a male 

strip show play drums with the dings.... and there were fairly old couples on the tour.....strange indeed. They tired to get me to sit in

front...

NoIncome Affidavit - Just realized for those whose on Retirement extension......

Current extension to stay was issued July 3 2018 and will need to renew July 3 2019 Correct?  See picture 

What option is best for me based on information given? #1 if appointments are available late December. 

1-Go to US Embassy Bangkok an get Income Affidavit and hope there accepted and renew end of June. Income work

outside of a thailand not below 210,000 baht a month but it’s currently deposited in USA bank. 

2-Income is from USA SSN which in my case almost meets the monthly requirement of 65k baht. Money will need to be added to reach requirement. What’s going to happen when you prove it and it’s for work not in Thailand but work?

Fortunateley I won’t be fully retired in mid to late 2019.

3- Currently work on projects outside of Thailand. On Retirement extension. When time comes to renew and you show money deposited into bank monthly is work.. Will you be questioned about working ? On bank statement where it came from.

I think Thailand is relatively safe can’t cast a blanket on all for what 

a few have done.

OP is your employer outside of US? If yes it won’t be a problem having it sent to Thailand. 

If they are in the US and your business had any of your information 

SSN etc. eventually the system will go to your employer and force 

employer to take a portion of your pay that would go to who is owed.

Hopefully the IO will soon clarify the monthly deposit over 65k.

My concern 65+ Deposit monthly (OK) in Thai bank and use

the money for daily expenses But the real meaning was to put

in bank and not use.

Someone early on when the hammer first came down did the math. Monthly deposits at 65k = 780,000 a year. 

Hopefully this is clarified soon because now we are all guessing 

what they’ll do.

MOST important they need the mental capabilities and should be evaluated mentally periodically. Their job is demanding and stressful at times. Some the pressure gets to them and mistakes 

are made.

Probably buy from lowest bidders and if you cut quality for price 

thats what happens. I like a nice salad with blue cheese dressing 

but never indulge if I don’t know the place.

There’s a few guys look the same condition everyone once and awhile in the daytime. Had one to many and didn’t like a camera

i didn’t do it all the time when a bit younger had a couple to many

didnt start fights tried talking out of them most the time. If I’d been stumbling drunk an accidentally bumped in to someone apologize. 

Now days if im out I know my limit and don’t push it anymore to old for it I reckon.

Depends on what the Power of Attorney is for. I had to get a POA

to sell my fathers house (5 siblings involved). Notarized at US Embassy. Lawyer in US said needed one witness and notary would be the third as required by Florida laws. Two of us were out of US 1) Thailand 2) Canada. 

It didnt go smoothly for either. Even though lawyer said Notary and witness was all that was needed. I had to make a trip back to

US Embassy and take two witnesses from here in the NE. The person that approves paperwork for house being sold said Notary can’t be a witness.

The Embassy read the document and questioned who wrote it (Fl Lawyer) why a witness? She said doesn’t say anywhere on the document needs witness. When I had to go back to Embassy I called and she got the appointment for us and she did the Notary. 

Which all the family was thankful because we had a all cash buyer.

Other person US citizen with permanent residence in Canada. Went to official Notary office in Canada. POA wasn’t accepted. He ended up going across border and getting it done again in US.

Best you decide everything that the POA will be used for and what 

is required from place your using the POA. We asked our lawyer but

turned out whatever it was? escrow? will accept. Each state in US has its own requirements so make sure to check everything.

Maybe they think it’s cool. When I was in HS and a number of years later had loud exhaust. Gives a little better performance.

Then HD had loud exhaust helps people to hear yiu if the don’t see you....  

but yiuve got got to be respectful of area time of night to stay of the gas.

number. Now I’ve just got a new US passport and when you

renew passport you get a new number. I will take both passports

My opinion is local street food is most the time better than mall

food. 

I’m not concerned personally but have concerns giving blanket access to monitor a persons or companies bank account.

Instead of blanket approval access there should something similar 

to a warrant that has to be approved on individual concerns.

I could imagine someone of authority having a beef with someone

and just to be a dick monitor / or put their bank account on hold. 

Udon Thani has cameras in some areas usually on the overpass.
