For me it depends on the ride.. if in village the auto scooter is ok… out on highway pervert manual… when in California I went to get MC license read up on the driving test and it suggested take test on scooter and their are people who rent them by the day specifically for driving test. failed because put foot down in the circle… so went to my sons rode his 70s BMW R75 about an hour and took the test in it the next day… passed with no problem… it’s shaft driven so has more control with throttle… I had a HD Streetglide but didn’t try it for the test…

If it results they have to pay cash they should ask for a cash discount. Whether cash discount are available here I don’t know. When I was on holiday in the US had an emergency room visit that wasn’t covered with insurance. They emailed the bill @ $7,000 USD I called the company that handles hospital payments and asked for a cash discount… the bill was paid in full @ $3,500 USD…

Non O Retirement UDT. Couple three years ago IO came to visit we’re in a village. They visited neighbor Farang up the road he was on Non O Marriage. Guessed they thought to stop by our place on the way back … no call… I wasn’t home they talked to Father in law who lives in house behind us on same lot. i was told to go to local police station next day in town 22 km away. The asked questions, copied passport asked if I had tattoos .. yes.. so had to take my shirt off for pictures. None spoke much English. They said Thank You and haven’t seen them since. No big deal just doing their job. There’s only two farangs I’ve ever seen in 7 years.

Hello Pawpcorn… Phan Don must be near the train station…. We’re 25 km the other side of Kumphawapi I don’t get in town much and not much of a conversationalist… lived in California LA/OC via Miami 51 years then 10 in China and now 7 years here in the countryside … and enjoy the slower pace… enjoy the weather it’s getting nice and cool now..
