We are omnivores we have always eaten meat even chimps eat meat. So don't act like we cant eat it or are not build for it. We certainly are NOT herbivores nor are we pure meat eaters.

We are not built for it and it causes world hunger/ Just be honest you eat it because you like it and don't care about animals - fair enough but just be honest.

Suggestion for the posters who believe that vegan food is not tasty and doesn't have variety:

If in Bangkok, have a meal at May Veggie Home:

8/3 Sukhumvit Soi 16 (at Asoke Sukhumvit intersection, Ratchadapisek Roak Klong Toei), Bangkok, Thailand, 10110

In Chiang Mai, try Vegan Heaven:

44/6 Loi Kroh Rd , Chiang Mai, Thailand, 50100

    or Vegan Heaven 2:

Or I was about to also suggest Vegan Heaven 2, but just read on HappyCow.net:

"Second branch of Vegan Heaven, changed name in June 2019 and became a fully vegan pizzeria."

Haven't tried it's new incarnation, but looking forward to it and expect it to be delicious.

27/2 Moon Muang, Soi 9, Chiang Mai, Thailand, 50300

The owner has another CM restaurant, I believe her 1st, this one vegetarian - Taste from Heaven. Haven't yet gotten there.

These are only 2 restaurants. There are tons of others.

( I dined at many in CM, but the only one I ate at in Bangkok was May's. Several times).

Happycow.net lists vegetarian and vegan restaurants with reader reviews.

The free version of the phone app gives a max of the last 3 (or maybe it's 5) reviews of each restaurant.

The pay app gives access to all the reviews. (The only phone app I've ever paid for).

Anchan is the best in town.

If you’re not supposed to eat animals, why did God make them taste like meat?

You think our teeth are carnivorous (or vegetarian i.e. flat)?  we can eat raw meat or we have to cook it to be palatable?  there is NO argument for meat eating especially if you have concerns for world hunger or a smidgen of understanding the hell animals go through to satisfy your lust for cooked flesh.

Happy to see that CORY BOOKER is back in the contest!

He's very talented and given the type of race baiting campaign that "trump" has already signaled is his plan, the hard fighting former mayor of NEWARK would be a great fit.

The truth is the democrats have an embarrassment of riches on who to put up that have a great chance of beating the current occupant of the white house.

On that stars list I would include --

    Harris

    Mayor Pete

    Warren

    Booker

    Castro

I don't include Biden. Too much baggage and he does not inspire. Also Bernie. Between Sanders and Warren, one needs to fade and it's going to be Bernie.

My going in favorite Klobuchar who clearly is out of this by now might be a VP possibility depending on who's on the top of the ticket.

So funny 'an embarrassment of riches' lol. The only one who could beat Trump is Yang who is streets ahead of those dinosaurs with no ideas.

Errrrm.... you do know what bacon/ham, mince and sausages are made out of, right? Ok then, maybe not.

Yes, we are talking Great Apes and the one thing in common we have with them is that we are omnivores. Our dentition has evolved to eat both plants and meat.

I like meat, but, have no problem with vegetarians.........except for one.

If I invite a vegetarian over to my house for a meal, I'll cook up a meat free meal for them.

When they invite me to their house for a meal, do they cook up a nice juicy steak for me? Nope. Where's the reciprocity?

Errrrm you don't get the sarcasm???   the "LOL" doesn't give it away?  the "best to last"?  no?  ok...

If your friend was an alcoholic and you are not would the same thinking apply?  You have a drink he doesn't... you go to his house and expect him to make you a drink?

OK. You partially understand how universal health care works (it is also paid for by corporate taxes, capital gains taxes, and all other govt revenue streams, not just wages/salaries) What’s your actual point?

The point is that it would virtually wipe out those money grabbing Ins companies, bleed the tax coffers dry and everyone would have to pay into the scheme. I'm not saying it's not a good thing I'm saying none of those weak willed Dems will, or could, do it. It would be such a gigantic change that I just don't see it happening. One of the biggest weaknesses of the NHS is medical free tourism and USA would be over-run with even more illegal immigrants wanting free health care. Chaos!

No. Many clever people who earn good money don't have degrees.

If it makes you feel better the Technical Director of the European Space Program doesn't have a degree. Or his predecessor didn't unless he still works there. It was a while ago.

People who have no degree always say this stuff. It isn't necessary in some cases but is essential in others. It shows focus and commitment at the very least. In the OP case he doesn't need one.
