Let's say that in 2016 no votes were changed. Does that mean that there is no threat in 2016? You think the Russian were just having fun trying to penetrate electoral systems? That they wouldn't go further if they could? If that's the case, your take on the Russians is just as benign and as foolish as Trump's.
I'm simply requesting evidence that it made one JOT of difference to the outcome. Of course USA will make all efforts to stop any nation meddling but to blame Trump is absurd.

How about stopping with the deflections? It's irrelevant if the USA does "the same". It doesn't follow that the USA ought to accept such actions from other governments, ignore them or let them get on with it. As for policies etc. - other than being yet another deflection, also not much connection to reality there.
Ah what's good for the Goose is not good for the Gander.
USA it's 'ok' others it's 'not ok'. I'm surprised you allow such an Elephant to enter your room.
Of course USA will defend itself against any hacks as will Russia and the rest of the world but to suggest 'holier-than-thou' USA is any different is the biggest deflection of all time.- 1

The intel testimony given on 25 July resulted in even Trump Republicans having to admit Russians were able to hack voting machines in all 50 states. That should scare the hell out of everyone!
You have evidence that votes were changed? that's a game changer and I will have to seriously reconsider my view. How many votes were effected? 1m? 5m? in all 50 States? maybe 50m?

It's all too obvious you didn't read the Mueller report. The buzz word "collusion" is the red herring. Yes, there was no "collusion," but if you took the trouble to read the 450 pages, you WOULD see concerted efforts by the Trump campaign coordinating with Russians, planning with Russians, exchanging critical information back and forth with Russians to get Trump elected. Perhaps not technically illegal but it should scare the HELL out of everyone how much effort the Russians put in to get him elected. Oh, BTW, they're still doing it.
Try it, the report will open your eyes:
https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/5955118-The-Mueller-Report.html
I would be happy to read the report but let's have another one on USA meddling in Russian affairs? oh they don't do that? how many votes were changed due to this 'Russian collusion'? Russia favoured trump, that's clear, and what? USA 'favours' all sorts in tons of elections which are none of USA's business, but they continue to meddle all over our world. Give it a rest it's not important. How about some Dem POLICIES for 2020? you know the type of thing, economics, education, environment.

"The reason, again, that you did not indict Donald Trump is because of the OLC opinion stating that you cannot indict a sitting president, correct?" Lieu asked, referring to the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel.
"That is correct," Mueller said.
Mueller's statement directly contradicted what he wrote in his report and could have been damaging to Trump, implying that he was a criminal in all but name………….
Mueller has confirmed, publicly, the major details of his voluminous report.
'Our 2016 election came under massive attack by the Russians, and those efforts continue. The goal was to help Donald Trump's electoral prospects. People in the Trump campaign welcomed the efforts. Trump stood to gain financially from relationships with Russia through the building of a Trump Tower in Moscow'.
He also confirmed the multiple ways that Trump sought to obstruct his investigation.
He clarified that his office had not made a determination as to when Trump had committed a crime, because of internal Department of Justice guidance that states a sitting president couldn't be indicted. He affirmed that Trump could be charged with obstruction of justice.
And, in what may be the most resonant sound bite, he underscored, contrary to the lie Trump keeps telling, that Trump was in fact not fully exonerated by his findings.
You know that's not right :
"He clarified that his office had not made a determination as to when Trump had committed a crime, because of internal Department of Justice guidance that states a sitting president couldn't be indicted."
He clarified his mistake in the afternoon session - you have either not seen that or are deliberately ignoring it by quoting the EARLIER mistake.- 3

I didn't think Mueller did a great job at the hearings. That having been said, I think it was clear that Trump obstructed justice, and that Mueller felt that way but could not charge a sitting president. It is also clear that Trump's refusal to answer questions was just another form of obstruction.
Did you actually listen? see the clarification that they did not even consider this or are you making it up?

Ok let me set you straight. I have been here over a decade and have tried all the dating sites. Are they all hookers? of course NOT! (how dare you!) but, are Thai girls 'flexible' of course they ARE.
A bit of 'gas' money here, and there, maybe couple thousand for a nice dress for our next 'meeting'?
Most gratefully receive such 'kindness' but they are NOT hookers! (how dare you!!! a quick way to a slap if you even hinted at that).

Mueller did reiterate that his investigation did not exonerate the president on obstruction of justice. He also dismissed Trump's claims that the investigation was a "witch hunt" and that Russian interference was a "hoax." https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/cummings-implores-american-people-to-pay-attention-to-whats-going-on-after-mueller-testimony/ar-AAEOxtw?ocid=spartanntp
Muller reiterated they did not 'consider obstruction' not because of rules... it was not considered so all the noise is DEFLECTION as the report was about Russia Collusion (there was none).

The clarification was not about the multiple instances of collusion and obstruction.
It was that he could not even consider if there could be an indictment.
No it wasn't. It was 'we did not consider obstruction' not about the rules said we 'could not' ERGO 'we don't know'

There was collusion. And obstruction of justice.
Yes it could have been over in 6 months if trump had cooperated. And his close aides kept finding themselves guilty.
Ya we were watching this 'clarification' from the afternoon session.... were you?

From the hearing (and report):
Trump ordered the firing of Mueller, and would have succeeded but for the people he ordered refused to commit such a blatant attempt to obstruct justice.
Trump then ordered a letter be written after the fact and entered into the the Presidential Records to falsely record that he did not order the firing of Mueller, again nobody would follow his criminal order.
Do any of Trump’s supporters have an argument why these two actions by Trump are not crimes, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to fraudulently corrupt the record?
Watch and weep

I grow SO damned weary of the "They did it so why can't we?" defense. Interfering is wrong, regardless of the perpetrator. Something even more disturbing is how Russia worked so hard to get Trump elected. They don't put in that much effort without expecting a return on their investment which they are getting now.
"getting" what? Trump has been harder on Russia than Obama ever was. Can't you see this is all a red herring? (forgive the pun), 450 pages and no collusion just secondary fraud charges?
It is up to each country to defend and protect its democracy not whine over 'attempts' as rightly outlined by POTUS Obama - watch from beginning to end.- 1

Rather than deal with the substance of the testimony, Trump supporters attack Mueller for being old.
1. Trump was not exonerated.
2. Significant evidence of Trump’s team sharing information with Russian government agents and 126 meetings between Trump’s team and Russian agents.
3. The ten counts of Trump’s obstruction of justice are indictable offences once he leaves office.
4. Attempts by Trump to corrupt the Presidential Records to hide his obstruction of justice.
And much more.
1. Prosecutors don't 'exonerate' - there are no charges
2. No evidence just wishful thinking
3. He could be charged with parking offences also - deflection nonsense
4. he displayed anger at Dem sour grapes
Was going to say 'nice try' but it isn't is it? it's weak, weak, weak get back to POLICY

Well, Bob came across as confused, forgetful and almost senile. kept asking for repeats, could not remember and was not assertive about facts. Dems must be tearing their liberal hair out at the roots!
What did we learn? no case of obstruction just secondary cases about fraud, no exoneration but no guilt (whoever heard a prosecutor saying 'not guilty but no exoneration'?) and refusing to answer about the foundations of the whole circus.
Trump could be beaten in 2020 but not like this and this morning what do we get? they all line up saying 'it's not over', but I fear it is for the Dems if they carry on this strategy.- 2

The rich and powerful few families tell him this constantly and his minions who crave a few crumbs from the table lick his boots as he struts around Thailand like some Roman all-powerful General.
