Ok i done the extraction last Friday, the hospital and the service is good indeed. The only problem I had is some serious bleeding that wont stop, and when I called the hospital at night to ask for "emergency service 24/7" as they advertise it wasn't available...some girl told me in broken English there is no doctor now and I should come tomorrow. I went to Samitivej hospital emergency room for help, it took 2 hour and few doses of andrenaline applied directly on the wounds to stop the bleeding. Not pleasant experience at all....

Thank you guys, will check both places this week, are you recommendation based on personal experience?

It is also illegal to write forward contracts on the Thai Baht, unless there is an actual physical transaction in good or services to back the contract.

Been asked by a friend from outside Thailand that want to open a branch of his Forex brokerage, what the legality of Forex trading in Thailand? I am not talking about trading online with your own account, I am talking about corporate set up with money going through Thai bank account. Well today i'm jumping back into Thai stocks- KBANK, PTTCH, ADVANC (Advanc's XD date is tomorrow so will get a nice return immediately on that)- i think in short term they will increase (before EURO troubles reignite in the coming weeks/months)

KT Zimco platform is free and very good, if you open an account with them you can do everything including having a margin account ( well I have one )

Are you foreigner? Can you short sell with KT Zimco? How long you have that account?

To trade Thai stocks you will need to go through one of the local brokers anyway. The process of opening account is pretty straight forward and you dont need deposit much in the beginning. The broker will provide you with live trading tools including charting etc. My advise will be to open account in your wife's name(if she is Thai and you trust her), cause as a foreigner you will not be able to get margin or to short sell stocks.

I noticed today my phone showing 3G service in Rawai/Chalong areas of Phuket, I am with AIS and used 3G in Hua Hin previously. Made a speed test and its only 200 kbps, so not better than EDGE...:-) They can proclaim it 3-4-5G but it wont change the fact that the speeds are still dial up here.. Will wait till the end of the month and make few more speed tests.

I talked to Kim Eng, they seems to be ok except not giving margin to foreigners and some strange rule of "From 1st April 2010 onwards, all account types and every channel both Sales Representative and Internet channels collect minimum commission charge 50 Baht per day" I mean even if I am not trading that day they will collect some fee? Any other advices for beginner like me will be appreciated.

I had True connection few times in BKK, mostly crap. With 3BB only good experiences so far in 2 different locations( HH and Phuket).

North Kata beach can be easily accessible by car/wheelchair. Also that corner is protected from the wind/waves.
