I am UK nationality.......want to visit U.S.A in April with my Thai Girlfriends For me .......all i Need is an esta which takes a few days to approve How about my girlfriend.......how hard is it for her just to visit Thailand on a holiday? Do you need visit an embassy etc and do alot of paperwork?

Oh really then how come ive heard stories of people who had extension of stay, but they left a school early...... and when they tried to leave thailand at the end of their extension of stay, they had major problems with immigration/overstay fines?

My School is responsible/ The Co ordinator will for sure cancel work permit /extension of stay. But Its fine if they do this right by themselves? I don't have to be there with them to go to the labor office/immigration? If this is true....I can fly out of thailand and my co ordinator can cancel everything the next day

Okay so I have to cancel and work permit next week, My extension of stay is currently valid until 31st Of October Am I allowed to fly out of the thailand the next day - or will this count as 1 day overstay? The flight out of thailand is at 12 Pm and would be impossible to go to the labor office and get the flight on the same day I also don't want an overstay stamp in my passport...

Sorry I got mixed up, I meant to say immigration offices - where your visa approved/ extended can only see what is in your passport history. If you have to many Ed Visa in your passport - Immigration office will likely not issue you with another one ....or if you have a Non-B/Extension of stay - you can no longer can an Ed-Visa also. That is why its probably a good idea to get a new passport every few years

I've been working in thailand for a teacher for over a year on a Non-B/Work Permit How risky is it to fly to dubai for a few days......and fly back to Krabi Airport to try and get a visa exempt (British Nationality). Not sure how strict Krabi airport is but heard phuket airport immigration can be strict What are the chances do you think are of getting denied entry?

You can probably keep doing it but you will need to go back to your home country for a new passport every few years From my understanding , Immigration at the airport won't see you had an educational visa on the computer........Maybe just the length of time you've been in thailand

Re Entry Permits Conditions on: Education Visa and Chiang Mai University Visa? Ok so I am looking to get a Chiang Mai University Visa for 15 months for 65,000. During the 15 months I want to go on holiday maybe two or three times for maybe One week at a time. Has anyone done this with these types of Visa. I know I need a re entry permit.......But do i need to pay a bribe to Immigration when I come back into Phuket Airpot? Or Do I pay for fast track and if so how do I that?

Shouldn't be a problem A Recent Non-B/Workpermit and then coming back on a TR visa within one month would be risky though by air.

Crazy stupid idea to do this. AMerica did the same thing during COVID pandemic and it drove inflation above 10% It's like Thailand wants to drive inflation up on purpose so they can put interest ups above 5% to cause the economy collapse

That so UNFAIR to western tourists who have supported thai tourism and economy over the COVID pandemic whilst China citizens were locked away in their own country GIVE it to europeans also.

To be fair - Thailand Is a lot more of an attractive destination than those other countries..... for many reasons. Lowish crime, Cheapish prices, More developed than western countries in some aspects like Wifi, Great Food. If they made that easy for any tourist to stay up to 180 days visa free - Thailand hotspots would probably be overrun by millions of tourists, long stay expats, and systems probably couldn't cope. That is why they need some sort of time limiting measures for tourists.

If this gets done - which I highly doubt- Its gonna take a long time to come through I would have thought What thailand really needs is a 1 or 2 year Digital Nomad Visa available (Show you have legitimate online monthly earning enough to support yourself)........at the same price as an education visa (45-60k for 1-2 years would be reasonable)

I would recommend Headstart over KIS any day as long as money and cost is not a big issue. Much better facilities, oversight and teachers at Headstart
