Slingbox system enables me to watch and record programs from my cable box and DVR in Pennsylvania.

In Chiang Mai, I have a virtual tv remote on my desktop computer screen to control channels, access DVR.

Streaming has been good, but erratic, from 3BB (Fiber) bandwidth.

Looking for a better, more reliable system here in Chiang Mai to watch USA-TV programs.

It's working nicely for me with all except electricity (Provincial Electricity Authority/PEA).

In compliance with new Thai Immigration rules, USA retiree needs to receive monthly Social Security benefits checks direct-deposited into a Thai bank (Kasikorn Bank is his bank).

Can this be accomplished simply by requesting SocSec Administration to send checks to K-Bank?

notice the hidden charges?  Exchange rate (dollars to baht), as determined by WU, results in a handsome profit for Western Union.

500 dollars, at 29 baht to the dollar, netted a (hidden) $30 profit for WU.  Beware.
