  1. As per the story,"patrons drinking in pubs after official closing hours will face fines of up to 10,000 Thai baht". The Thai Govt. must be absolutely insane on that law where the RTP will take advantage of it and will only fine farangs who can afford it. At that amount RTP can buy whatever they want after a few busts, Three reasons why the Govt authority is insane; 1, Your tourists will significantly decrease in numbers if this dumb idea is enforced. 2. In most western countries they fine the owner not the patrons as it is the owners/managers responsibility to ensure the closure law is regulated for that establishment and not the patrons who have no idea as to what the hours are by local law, 3, The corrupt senior RTP cops are indirectly linked to owning bars and if this law is active and the patrons are only fined this will significantly increase the senior RTP cops own coffers as they will call the lower ranks to make a bust and pass on a bigger %, of what I call illegal penalties, back to the senior RTP owners of the bar. Corruption by the RTP at a maximum bull..sh.t law. Only in Thailand,
  2. Thanks Margaret Thatcher the "Iron Lady". By the way. Are you sure Thaksin is in a medical ward?
  3. Not quite. He's in a prison hospital like last time where I saw the ward which looked like a 5* hotel. That's not a prison cell. Where it it has enough room for a toilet and bed and that's it!. And at worse sharing it with a potential, "Jack the ripper" in a double deck bed. 🤪
  4. Yep absolute dribble. worst is it is repeated," dribble"
  5. From Google: The Thai government froze Thaksin’s assets in June 2007, and the following February he returned to Thailand to face corruption charges. In August 2008, shortly after his wife was convicted of tax evasion and while both were out on bail, the couple fled the country. Thaksin was tried in absentia, and in October 2008 he was found guilty of corruption and sentenced to two years in prison. The couple subsequently divorced, and Potjaman returned to Thailand, where her sentence was suspended. In July 2011 the Pheu Thai Party, a pro-Thaksin party headed by Thaksin’s younger sister, Yingluck Shinawatra, won the majority of parliamentary seats in the country’s general elections, and in August Yingluck became prime minister. That victory opened the door for Thaksin’s possible return to Thailand, and in 2013 Yingluck’s government attempted to grant amnesty to those involved in the political tensions between 2006 and 2010, which, it was believed, would include her brother. The proposal, however, caused massive protests. Yingluck was ousted in 2014, and she later joined her brother in exile after being charged with (and later convicted of) corruption. On August 22, 2023, Thaksin returned to Thailand from a 15-year self-imposed exile, a move that led to speculation that he had struck a deal with military-linked parties to reduce his prison sentence. His return coincided with his party agreeing to join a coalition with the pro-military Palang Pracharath Party (associated with outgoing Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha) about three months after the 2023 general elections. Shortly after Thaksin’s arrival, a Thai court ordered him to serve an eight-year prison sentence for corruption and abuse of power. However, after less than a day in jail, he was transferred to a hospital. Now is that a history of a nice guy?
  6. Because he is an ass..hole. My question is to you why do you think he is a good person, Especially after you google what his past history is?
  7. Geeze. He's a billionaire. You think it would be lobster pizza. He's even a tight ars. e in trying to get favours from prison guards. Does he not realise he does not have that long to live. Thank God.
  8. The Thailand run and controlled by children dressed as men. The irony is children mostly smile at small things and do not resolve adult problems. That's why Thailand is called the land of smiles. (LOS). Hopefully, one day the power brokers of Thailand wake up and ask, " why are we not part of the G8 summit"
  9. Like comparing the Devil with God. No comparison!
  10. What about the already obese people. drinking soft drinks with lots of sugar, or eating cakes etc, etc. Is that a disease also because it is clearly an addiction?
  11. I will maybe disappear one day. But I assure you with your dribble reply it will not happen soon!
  12. I said "why so many" i did not pick a particular name! As far as his wealth is concerned and based on how much he now owns that could still be questionable.
  13. You switch the subject to "indigenous population". Thus a waste of time to respond. Thank you and good bye.
  14. Clearly better than you. Nor do i want to go through paragraphs of words to explain it to you. Have a nice day.
  15. I bet your the type of guy that believes Elvis Presley is still alive plus Hitler!
  16. Thank God for that. Trouble is, indirectly he will always be involved in politics. It's his drug. He wants power, Money to him is now meaningless.
  17. Maybe Thaksin is seeking God or Buddha. Seriously, I'm impressed with this action from him to teach English to fellow inmates if it's true
  18. Do you truly believe the general population know where corrupt fortunes come from in Thailand. Have a Cuban cigar and another joint!🤣
  19. Oh the poor population. They must be scratching their heads as to why so many politicians, who are far from being smart can amass such large fortunes! The answer is simple because it was gained by illegal methods,
  20. Food delivery menus from 5 start restaurants, daily massages, TV, laptop. etc etc! Prison guards serving his every desire. He will make Pablo Escobar, the ex drug Colombia, look like a student before Thaksin is finished with this bull.hit cover up!
