MGs come with a free wall box and installation, not sure about GWM. In my installation the installer ran a cable from closest fuse box. An alternative is get a second meter installed, last year PEA had an incentive for EV owners of a free install of a second meter. You could then get that one as a Time Of Use and pay 2.6 Baht for overnight

looks like he is changing his mind ,fancys the mg  now .

I don't own a car at the moment but in the near future planning to buy one.

Definitely EV, currently Ora Good cat is my favourite. But let's see what other cars might be available here within this year. Any sedan or hatchback is welcome. MG5 would be great as EV, love the design.

But at the moment, Good cat has the most driving assist features, good looking and affordable price.

About two wheelers, I would wait until there are Evs from the well-known manufacturers are available. Also, I'd like to make tours with my motorcycle. Currently there are no long range or proper e-motorcycles available here. Also not really see the point for two wheelers being electric. Since changing to 4-stroke engines, the emissions and fuel consumption are neglibible compared to a car.

looks like our son is going to buy a good cat ,terrible name though ,anyone know if you live in a detached house ,how do you get a charging point, does it just come from your house supply and plug into the wall of the house?

  4. We originally lived in the UK ,OUR SON WENT TO A GREAT SCHOOL FROM 5 TO 12 ,then he went to senior school ,it was not good ,police on the gates to stop fights and drugs etc ,then we came to Thailand ,he went to a private school ,then Bangkok university , he now runs a company ,wonder what his job would have been in the UK with the education he would have got there ,even if he had gone to one of Blairs universitys of joined up writting ?

There are a few new additions from the UK TV this week---some seem a little light on content--- but I haven't got round to  sampling yet, so but maybe not.

    Chivalry--Drama Ch 4--IMDB 6.4            6 episodes IMDB ...I got from Chaos

Gender politics and romance come under close scrutiny in this comedy-drama written by and featuring Steve Coogan and Sarah Solemani. Shrewd studio executive Jean Shrill (Wanda Sykes) arranges for passionate indie-darling film-maker Bobby Sohrabi (Solemani), to take over as director of a problematic movie produced by Cameron O'Neill (Coogan). Cameron must navigate remaining relevant at a time when cancel-culture is all too real and is surprised when spending time with Bobby awakens a creative side of himself, he thought had long-since passed.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

Life After Life---- BBC 2 Sort of a Russian Doll situation-- keeps coming back to life...

IMDB are giving this  a rave review & 7.8  just 4 episodes From Chaos

Ursula's story begins in 1910, when she is born to parents Sylvie and Hugh but tragically dies before she draws her first breath. However on the very same evening, she is reborn and this time she survives, a strange phenomenon that happens over and over which sees Ursula navigating a series parallel lives set against the backdrop of two World Wars.

    ---------------------------------------------------

    Compulsion---Ch-5  4 episodes IMDB 6.2----Chaos

After surviving a tragedy, paramedic Jenny Challoner struggles with PTSD. Concealing her suffering from husband Chris, friend Alison and daughter Rosie, Jenny's life spirals out of control.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

Why Didn't They Ask Evans?-----3 episodes IMDB 7.4  -- Chaos

A dying man's enigmatic last words send vicar's son, Bobby Jones, and his socialite friend, Lady Frankie Derwent, on a crime-solving

    ----------------------------------------------------

    The Rising----UKTV  8 episodes   IMDB  7.5

Neve Kelly discovers she is dead. She's scared and confused by this new existence. But, when she realizes she has been murdered, she's furious. She's determined to find her killer and get justice, believing that it was someone she knew.

Interesting about the waist up photos.

I don't believe the bedroom photo is required anymore. We didn't bring one. The big run around this year was the PP copies. Last year I did two on a page (open book), made us go and do one a page. This year I did one a page, they wanted two a page (open book). Last year did 4 to a page of the home photos. This year had to cut them out and paste them two to a page, one top left, second bottom right. The good news is that getting an appointment worked like a charm. Got there and was put in the front of the line with many a confused look coming from behind.

Well we did one on the bed ,the wife was holding the dog as well,we always givea big smile in that pic.

We have to supply one with us on the bed, and they have made us do it again on home visit, one really weird officer went outside and took it through the window ! one time they wanted the witness my mate's wife also to sit on the bed with us ! I refused to be photo'd on the bed with my mates  wife, he is a very big young bloke LOL selfies not allowed at Trat I.O.  TTBOMK

The last two times that immigration have come to our house they have not even bothered to come inside  ,and just took a picture of me the wife and our neighbour on the lawn , i have a funny feeling that it has something to do with the fact her husband owns a large company and when 3 years ago they asked her  how much she got a month ,two of them fainted???? and the others were and have been very polite when they come .,also she is quite attractive but dont tell the wife i said that.

Yer..... reminds of that old Yorkshire saying---although I think  its more pertinent with Thai women-:

Your Son's your Son until he finds a wife........

Your Daughters your Daughter for the rest of your life....

in my case the truest thing ever said.

I would agree with an average of 4 for many western men.

I've encountered 3 or 4 who scored ZERO in their home countries until they discovered Thailand in their 50s-60s.

Four was all I managed until age 23, then I was married and I thought settled for life until age 52.

3 or 4 ,god i slept with more than that the first few weeks i moved to London in the 60s as a 20 yr old guy, funnily enough i have not slept with vast numbers of girls in Thailand ,only about 8 or9 different ones .

I had business in BKK about 25 yrs ago and remember a friend who worked there as well and myself moving away from the stage when a live sex show started as we wanted to carry on our conversation ????????????

  10. I lived in London in the 60s and 70s ,new and partyd with many people in music and tv etc ,at most partys i slept with some girl or other ,i was very lucky ,my wife tells me i was not bad looking when i was younger ,i never really believed that i was ,but for some reason i had lots of girlfriends ,one nighters and  a few wives through my life up until i was about 50 then i met my now wife,i have never cheated in a relationship and i certainly would not now as she has made me so happy .

mind you i was very happy from the day i was born and i think lucky.????

It could be any number of things, from a neurological problem to a problem with circulation to an issue with your spine.

Is it both feet or just one?

Test your circulation by pressing hard on the nail of your big toe and seeing how long it takes to turn back to normal color. It should be just 2-3 seconds. If longer, may be circulatory issue.

    hi

its both feet although the left one is just behind the toes ,while the right is down the side as well ,by the way i have heart problems and had a bypass a very long time ago ,its to risky to have another so i take meds ,and my toes when i squeeze them go pink straight away .
