Several TV members had it done there. I believe it is just one ophthalmologist there (and not there every day), older woman and reported to be a bit brusque in manner but competent,.

With COVID there may be a delay or even temporary freeze on elective surgery but no harm in asking/

I believe there is a young eye doctor there as well

I doubt Smith would have agreed to it. He came out looking really bad. 95% seem to agree Rock was the man, with his dignified and classy response and Smith is an out of control looney, who just may have been off his meds. He appeared to be extremely frustrated over getting stuck with what appears to be a very low quality woman, and seems to be quite unfulfilled and angry.

Defending the honor of his wife? Such nonsense. It was comedy. Her disease, while embarrassing is not serious, and 7 million American women have it, so she is nothing special.

His speech afterwards was equally ridiculous. What is this, the 17th century? All that was missing were the swords. Smith came across as a street thug with paper thin skin, in my opinion. I lost all respect for him.

Dont know about defending the honor of his wife ,does he defend it when either of them sleeps with other people ,in their " open" marriage?

Which is one of the many reasons why I'd never have taken my Thai wife to live in NZ or Britain.

My first Thai wife lived in Britain in fact still does ,asked for nothing ,my second Thai wife lived in Britain and now lives here in Thailand with me ,dont worry about it Thai British American ,women are just women ,good bad and different from each other .

My first Thai wife was a scheming, thieving --------- (insert word you feel like).

I had brought her to the UK and she fraudulently got money from banks and ruined a business we set up.

When I found out I petitioned for divorce after 3 years marriage , the same time she was in the UK.

She at the time got free solicitors, they asked for everything they could possibly. wanted half my pension, half may house, half my savings. I was worried for a while - but judge just laughed at them, as she was working, in the wrong and obviously just someone wanting money. Judge said you don't get 50/50, marriage not long enough and no kids.

The solicitors are just fleas on a dog

Judge ordered me to give her £3,000 and that was it.

Way I understand it in Thailand is everything you had before the marriage is YOURs, everything gained after is 50/50 split. So technically if you bought a house in the marriage time, half is hers in Thailand law.

I'd cut her a deal of say 2-3% of your wealth at most, if the visa is up for renewal you've only been married 2 years and she is in the wrong. Thais hate being the one divorced - stain on the family - but ok if they divorce you - my ex told her family she divorced me for being with a bargirl - should have seen the families face when they saw the paperwork of me divorcing their daughter for theft.

I do not know ONE man that married a Thai and took them to the UK that are still together, ALL divorced. 100% split rate.

That said I know my current wife of seven years is not the same, and would buck the trend.

my second Thai wife and i lived in the UK for many years ,now back in Thailand 17 yrs ,our son went to school in the UK when young, we are still together ,

in fact i have to stop writting now as she just called me for my morning coffee ????

  7. yes ,she was in Thailand ,i was in the UK ,she never asked or got anything ,it was mine before and mine afterwards ,she now lives in the UK and has a partner ,mind you that was 27 yrs ago .i remarried a year later to my present Thai wife .

I will say one thing ,neither were bar girls and both came from familys that were not poor.

Sadly there was no suspense because I've watched the 2 previous versions.

The 2 lead actress and the young black girl were quite pretty.

The scenery and sets were also nice (even though it was all fake).

About time Hercule was played by a non-white, non-male, non-French accented person. Just to make it different from the last ones.

You mean Hercule is not a non binery black actor with a disabilaty ,my god where can i complain ,tik tok>?

There's a famous street food ally near Silom where the sell just the cores of the pineapples in a giant bag for 20 baht. Like having one of those intestinal cleaning regimes on Ko Samui.

my favourite part of the pineaple, most sellers just throw them away ,every time i ask a seller for them they give them to me free ,i always give them 20 baht , fantastic.yum yum .

I finally got around to Bosch Season 7. Amazing show.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkA7xFnndfg

With creator Eric Overmeyer's credentials, comparison to The Wire (along with other cast members Jamie Hector and Lance Riddick) is inevitable. Det. Collins mentions to J. Edgar, "Have you watched The Wire...", classic.

Looking forward to the next incarnation: Bosch: Legacy.

loved Bosch ,but the wire, apart from the fact i couldnt understand half of what they said ,i thought it was boreing in the extreme ,watched 4 episodes then just gave up ,now The Shield, that is great.

  12. When i read sad tales like this i thank God that i married a lovely ,intelligent woman whos family were not badly off ,26 yrs later after living in the UK Where our son spent his first years in a junior school and then private school here and now has an excelent  job where he earns a very large salary for a Thai ,just wish that the baht was still 71 to the pound ,that would be the icing on the cake.
