I did watch this one and as you rightly say it did bring out a few things which hadn't done the rounds before, including the fact that both of the Krays were homosexual, whereas before only Ronnie was fitted into that category.
Also in the doco was the fact that Reggie hadn't touched his wife sexually all the time they were together, and reading between the lines it was that which was a major factor in her committing suicide. IMO a worthwhile watch for anybody who remembers aspects of this era.
When i lived in London in the late 60s and 70s ,my then girlfriend was friends with a girl who had been in school with them(not the same class) and she told us then that as youngsters they were right bullying barstewards .

The distribution of vaccines to foreigners is not based on whether one can or cannot speak Thai. You're still a foreigner to them even if you can speak Thai.
I spoke Thai to the officers in the vaccination booths but was told that only Thai citizens can get the vaccines first. This is in several places and not just one place.
I even helped foreigners who can't speak Thai communicate with the people doing the registration.
As I have said, it's a loophole in the Morprom app of allowing people with pink cards through.
you mentioned a loophole in the mor prom before ,what loophole? its always been available for us who bothered to get pink cards ,and is not a loophole.

This is so true for people who can only register with their passport number.
The Thai pink ID card is actually a loophole in their Moprom app resulting in two groups of foreigners when they should be treated as one.
The Australian couple stayed in Thailand for 14 years which is much longer than some foreigners with Thai pink ID.
I have a pink card and was vacinated 5 weeks ago with astra zenica as was a friend .

Useful information, thanks. I don't have a pink ID but I do have the yellow tax ID card, a relic from the old days when interest rates were high enough that it was worth jumping through the hoops to claim the withholding tax back. It is indeed a 13-digit number, so it appears that I have a Thai ID number, and I never knew it!
Bloomin heck ,so have i i had forgoten all about tax id,no ,mind you i got my jab with my pink card ,but never even thought about tax id no ,which i had ,years ago for the same reason.

Just to put this to rest, pink cards have always been practically useless for most expats. The only reason they became important recently is becuase the government made them the only option for vaccination registration for the failed Morprom app, and did so intentionally to discourage most expats from using MorProm for registration.
It's pretty card to have in your wallet but other than that, not worth having for most expats. Case closed.

Gloating is unseemly in this situation.
Jingthing this isnt gloating ,but time after time i read the neighsayers on here telling all and sundry how useles a pink card is ,how its not worth bothering to get one ,nobody accepts them ,dont waste your time ,,well i didnt listen ,or should i say my wife didnt and she helped me get one , only once has it been turned down ,90% of the time its accepted ,in fact when i was admitted to a govt hospital they even seemed impressed on top pf that my fees and my meds were quite low,and continue to be so ,oh and i have been offered a free flue jab with it a year ago ,and because i had one i got an AZ jab 5 weeks ago ,so its not gloating ,i just hope others take note and get one for themselves.

I believe that the 12 weeks period between shots has been reduced to 8 weeks .
based on the fact that getting the second shot administered quicker will halt the progress of the Virus .
well i had mine 5 weeks ago ,still 16 weeks according to my mor phrom app . although my sister in law in BKK has just got a message putting it down to 12 weeks

4 hours ago, bradiston said:People have taken it all the way to the EU court of Human rights, via all the UK courts, and got absolutely nowhere. The fallacious argument is basically, the government can't afford to do it for the 400,000+ pensioners living abroad with frozen pensions, stating it would cost £500m. Which begs the question, what would happen if all 400,000 moved back to the UK? The government would have to cough up, and, of course, would find a way to so do. The money's there, it's just pensioners aren't a priority, just a bunch of old codgers the likes of Handoncock and co can kick around. But, how much are the savings to the NHS in not having to take care if 400,000 old age pensioners should the need arise? Far in excess of £500m I'll wager.
you can thank Tony the criminal Blair for that he was the one who made sure the EU voted it down.
