No. Some buses are only three to a row and recline to about 45 degrees.
Really....there is no need to make a mad rush of it ( unless you have to get back to a job ) . If you chill and take a bit longer it's more of a holiday mini break than a grueling obstacle course.
You can head to Khon Kaen for night 1 . Night 2 in Mukdahan.
Morning cross over and submit passport , night 3 Savannakhet.
Next afternoon collect passport and back to Khon Kaen arrive about 6.30 for night 4. Morning back to Pattaya , well traveled and not exhausted. I used to take the wife as she liked to travel a bit. Thats only 1 extra night since the kick <deleted> and scramble method involves sleeping on a bus twice plus 1 night in Savann.
This gets my vote. O/N on buses was a thing I did 35 years ago.

I would say that sinking some ships and creating man-made reefs would help. The Thais are pretty good at this already.

Ah. One of those salutary comments which remind us that, much though we may laugh at Thais destroying their own passports with Hello Kitty stamps, there are farangs among us who are even dumber.
Kennedy was shot in 1963. The IRA was not active at that time. The civil rights campaign in Northern Ireland did not start until the mid-1960s, and the Provisional IRA did not emerge until December 1969.My CIA comment was a sarcastic jibe.

It is, an example of how fact is often more involved / more complex / more juicy than fiction.
That's not all, the farang flew to Townsville to his older sister who was living under total police protection / new name & identity etc., for supplying the names of mastermind drug traffickers in Melbourne to the federal police in Australia.
The next twist, she negotiated a supply of AIDS cocktails for the brother working in Bkk (at that time the cocktail was a new concept, available but incredibly expensive and not available on national health etc. The cocktail tabs were transported to Bkk by an unnamed source every month.
It all fell apart when the guy (now deceased) in Bkk tred to change the pick up point in Bkk, the address, contact details became confused and the monthly supply of cocktail went back to Australia which is why full blown AIDS quickly took over.
Yep stranger than fiction.
Must have been a Junkie at some point as well. Given the background of the drugs.

I'm aware of a gay expat from OZ, got the HIV virus during his long stay working here. insisted on unprotected sex. Gave the HIV virus to his new naive totally inexperienced to his new very young lover, not a barboy, the young boy was a shop assistant in Central Silom, farang said I'll buy the toaster and more if you come home with me. The young boy progressed to full blown aids quickly and the farang threw him out. The boys work friends rented a small old pick up truck to take him home to Chiang Rai from Bkk (old pick up was the cheapest vehicle they could rent). Their work supervisor gave them money for gasoline. Boy died on the dirt floor of family house outside CR city within a few days.
Farang then progressed to full blown aids and continued to pick up boys on street corners etc. Bought a ticket to go home to OZ, evening before the flight he took another young street boy to his room, next morning sold everything in his room to other tenants then went to the airport with enough cash for the taxi fare, all he had in the world. He gave the proceeds of the clean-out sale to the street boy. Farang arrived in Brisbane, ambulance ordered by the airline waiting, dead within a few days.
Some story that.

Yeah you write the checks and they keep an eye on their balances ????????????
Correct

Just being a realist here. Would it not depend on the relationship? My experience is that the older women get up to a point know more. So they know what pleases them. So you need to know about the checks and balances.

I remember a question ( on another forum ) from a guy from USA asking if he needed a passport to visit Vietnam because the USA won the war there.
Nothing like a great knowledge of modern history. I am sure the CIA didn't shoot Kennedy either.

"Most items are actually cheaper in the UK now (clothes, food, technology etc etc) and better quality."
Well here is a reference;
As for better quality please provide supporting evidence considering the limited amount of good that the UK produce themselves directly.
Well said. Off course some items are cheaper but overall the UK has many. many hidden costs.

Only a 5000 baht fine if your vehicle is both suspended for 30 days AND you get caught again driving it. What are the chances of that happening? How about a 5000 baht fine right off the bat?
And clamp the vehicle.

As it is illegal maybe arresting and charging the owners might be a start?
Big fines. Then the money should go into the maintenance fund of the jurisdiction.

'Adults' for sure.
With a mental age and IQ added together that is the same as their shoe size and for sure should not be let out alone. Some people just don't have the intelligence for international travel (Westerners included).

No financial proof is needed.
Just leave and re-enter every 90 days. No problem on entry with a non-o visa.
A re-entry permit is not needed.
None
Thanks, Joe. Much appreciated.

What documents are required for the yellow book?
-
I am asking this on behalf of someone else so I want to get my facts straight.
- To get a one-year Non-O Married, Multiple-entry visa in Savannakhet no proof of funds are required?
- The holder has to leave Thailand every 90 days but with a multiple-entry will be allowed back in?
- No need for an exit and a re-entry?
- Are there any other restrictions?

I would take the X-Trail over a Pajero or Fortuner any day. The Pajero drives like a Bedford truck and is about as noisy. The Fortuner has the worst and most uncomfortable driving position in the world and is underpowered.

that is a pretty foolish assumption.
why would every major department store offer 6 or 7 options if foreigners are the only market.
dont kid yourself, for every foreigner that can afford one of these items 20 Thais have already bought one.
liking coffee is not an exclusively foreign thing. It is ignorant to assume it is.
Look at the number of coffee shops.

I fly every month from Dubai to Bangkok. Normally on Emirates. Last month due to Easter the Emirates fare was very expensive so I flew Thai. The flight was atrocious. The food was terrible. The entertainment was worthless. If they want to make money then they need to seriously improve their service.

Well, she is still alive. If this happened in her native country she would probably have suffered serious injuries.
