No you don't have to be married but i realize some rules are being made up but they have a very
big book with all the rules in it and if they care to look at that it will be easier.
When I wasn't married I was turned down for the yellow book.
Once I was married no problem ( Pathum Thani )

That seems like a great deal, hopefully the owner has looked after it. But what service would be due after 500km?
Should be in exceptional condition. I'd check fluids and brakes first and then overall body condition.
Tyres etc should still look new.
If you decide to buy then go around the bike yo ensure all nuts/screws etc are still tight.
Good luck !
I send you a personalised message to the link

I have the Classic 350 (same engine)...great bike for the back roads with a very relaxed ride, spares and accessories are cheap and plentiful. It isn't the fastest bike in its class, but it is a joy to ride. Get in touch with your local dealer and get a test ride (all the RE dealers seem to have demo bikes).
Thanks for the feedback.. I seen a used 2023 model with less then 500km on the clock for 99k, I'm very tempted saving of over 30k.

Just returned from this year's motor show in Bangkok.
I quite fancied the royal enfield hunter 350cc.
At 134,000฿ looked good value for money.
My question is have anyone got any
knowledge or feedback on royal Enfield brand, pros and cons etc...

If so, can you login to NatWest Online https://www.onlinebanking.natwest.com/Default.aspx using a browser (NOT the App)?
You probably need VPN, as you IP address here in Thailand is blocked by NatWest.

Leave your savings in your home country where you should get around 4%.
Here in Thailand SCB have saving account which pays out 1 5%.

I believe you should look closer at who charged the Bht200 fee. My understanding is, Thai banks do not charge for receiving money. Latter part of last year I had a dispute with my UK bank who claimed it was BKB who made the extra charge, until I proved them wrong with a written statement from BKB that they do not make a charge when receiving cask from abroad
I didn't use a UK bank for the transfer I use revolut.
BBL changed me 200฿ because the transfer came up as a swift transfer from revolut

That depends on your banks policy. Tip: Try Kbank next time…Great, I will give KBank a go

I did a small transfer using Rebolut
Into my Bangkok bank account.
When the money reached my account here in Thailand, Bangkok Bank charged me 200฿ fees.
When using Wise no fee's.

Don't forget starting 1st Jan 2024 if you here for 180 days you become a tax resident and pay thai tax next year on what you send here. Google it.
All speculation at the moment, nobody really knows

I have used HP laptops for the last 12 years. My old 7 year old one is just so beat up I picked up a new one over the weekend. HP online have a good new years sale on with additional discounts as well. 9,000-70,000 baht. I like them as Windows genuine is included in the purchase price. Just got one I was looking at for 22,999 in December, got it for 14,999 so the sale is real. One day delivery by DHL and you can pay on delivery.
Good deal, did you buy direct from the HP online ?.

That should not have been necessary.
Were your extensions (retirement) done using an agent?
Yip, Pattaya agent... Immigration ( Pathum Thani )spoke to the wife saying that the retirement NON O needs to be cancelled out and start from scratch.
I need start a post on here at the time, I'm guessing about 5 years ago.

When I changed over to marriage NON O 5 few years ago I had to leave Thailand to cancel out my retirement NON O, then enter on a 30 days waver and start the marriage O application from start.

It will also help me if you can come back and tell us if you understood the document or not because that will tell me if we need to make changes to it.
Mike, my apologies.
Just read through again.
Paragraph 8,9,and 10 answered my question.

It sounds as though you transfer savings and sale proceeds that were all accumulated prior to 1 January 2024, in which case, there is no tax to pay in Thailand on those transfers.
Mike, I'm guessing I still need to file a tax return next January - March 2025 even if I'm paid 0% tax on my transfers.

I'm from the UK, age 57 I been living in Thailand for 6 years I'm also married to a Thai.
My question is I do a monthly transfer from my UK bank account into my Thai bank of 25,000฿.
The money I transfer from the UK is saving that I accumulated over my lifetime and sale of my house in UK ( which I made no capital gains on the sale ).
Would i need to pay tax on my 25,000฿ ( annually 300,000฿ ) and if so how much please ?🙏

I do mine myself, give me something to do.
I don't know what's all the fuss is about, as long as you got the money it's a walk in the park.
