  1. Leave your savings in your home country where you should get around 4%. Here in Thailand SCB have saving account which pays out 1 5%.
  2. I didn't use a UK bank for the transfer I use revolut. BBL changed me 200฿ because the transfer came up as a swift transfer from revolut
  3. I did a small transfer using Rebolut Into my Bangkok bank account. When the money reached my account here in Thailand, Bangkok Bank charged me 200฿ fees. When using Wise no fee's.

  7. Yip, Pattaya agent... Immigration ( Pathum Thani )spoke to the wife saying that the retirement NON O needs to be cancelled out and start from scratch. I need start a post on here at the time, I'm guessing about 5 years ago.
  8. When I changed over to marriage NON O 5 few years ago I had to leave Thailand to cancel out my retirement NON O, then enter on a 30 days waver and start the marriage O application from start. ( Pathum Thani Imm )

  11. I moved out here 6 years ago with equivalent of 15M baht at 51 year's of age. My pension will kick in when I'm 67, the return on my 15M keep me going until my pension.

  13. Mike, I'm guessing I still need to file a tax return next January - March 2025 even if I'm paid 0% tax on my transfers.
  14. I'm from the UK, age 57 I been living in Thailand for 6 years I'm also married to a Thai. My question is I do a monthly transfer from my UK bank account into my Thai bank of 25,000฿. The money I transfer from the UK is saving that I accumulated over my lifetime and sale of my house in UK ( which I made no capital gains on the sale ). Would i need to pay tax on my 25,000฿ ( annually 300,000฿ ) and if so how much please ?🙏
  15. I do mine myself, give me something to do. I don't know what's all the fuss is about, as long as you got the money it's a walk in the park.
  16. You can download a least document contract on-line. Just fill the form in yours, get you landlord to sign. Once the extension been granted bin the contract
