Fair play Chantal, at least you asked. Have you been to all the local residences .... collar and bell ... it would make the owner's day
You are so right Dreamrider. I have spread the word with the locals with the hope that someone would be happy to be reunited with this cutie. I am still hoping that someone will contact me....but in the meantime I have to admit that we have got very attached to this little creature much to the dismay of the rest of our animal kingdom. They are rioting presently although they know me very well when it comes to introducing newbies.
-
Think I will...am already attached to it. Just what we need.....yet another cat

If anyone living in the Kata Hills area has lost a tiny grey kitten please feel welcome to PM me. It obviously belongs to someone as it has a collar with a bell.

Have to agree with SB. We had a group of about 12 people and everyone raved about the Thanksgiving dinner. Pity that Rick has had to cancel the Christmas lunch.
-
Thanks for sharing SB! You captured exactly what I saw yesterday.

So sorry to hear this. Hope you find your dog.

The fact of the matter is, most dive companies are owned/run by sexpests wanting to stay in Thailand and staffed by bar girls that are living/married to divers.....I wouldnt bother in Phuket if I were you.
How hilarious Where do you get your facts from?

Hi
Check out the Cafe Del Sol located on Kata Hill at the Boomerang Village: http://www.phuket-boomerang.com/en/restaurant.html
Great food (although the service is a little slow), stunning views overlooking Kata and romantic setting.
Hope this helps.

If you enjoy beef jerky you are bound to like biltong which IMO is far superior. Recently a company has started up selling biltong in Thailand and you can check them out here: http://sabthailand.blogspot.com/p/biltong-price-list-2010.html
Hope this helps you.

Thank you so much Ezzra....it is so good to be made aware!

Hi
I know someone who has dived at these caves and he raves about this site. Feel welcome to PM me for his contact details.

Just received a text - a group of our divers today have just buddied up with a Whaleshark at The King Cruiser Wreck located next to Sharkpoint! Will find out what size when they return later today.
-
I am also having problems. This has been going on for over a week. They keep on telling me that there is a problem in our area (Kata Hill)and that they are fixing it. Most frustrating!
-
Have to agree with Steven. It is a pity to read some of the posts on this thread which clearly shows a lack of knowledge about the diving around Phuket. During the low season months there is no diving off the west coast of Phuket. However in the high season months these local dive sites do have a lot to offer.
Also the daytrip diving (Sharkpoint, Anemone Reef, King Cruiser Wreck, Koh Doc Mai, Racha Yai and Racha Noi as well as around Phi Phi islands) is in fact better during the low season. The divers tend to see more marine life and bigger pelagics during these months due to the less amount of divers and boat surface traffic as during our high season months.
Safe diving all!
-
Racha Noi has been destroyed too, but is less obvious.
Shark Point is a decent dive, but there are no sharks left....
No sharks left at Sharkpoint?

Hi Chantal (or anyone who can help) - what time does the boot book sale at Greenman start, please?
The car boot sales start around 10:00am on the first Saturday of each month. However to get the most of it would be best to visit in the afternoon. By then most of the stalls are already set up. That is weather depending of course. Also many stalls will be set up in the shade under the trees away from the parking area next to the street. So if you drive past it could appear to be empty.
