Apparently The Greenman will be showing it on the lawn outside - weather permitting.

Hi Rob
Contemporary resumes are for quick reading using bullets rather than paragraphs. For info check this website out: http://alumni.clemson.edu/career/resumes.htm
Good luck!

Have to agree wth you Gerd
Am placing another order soon for ourselves as well as some starving diving instructors My favourite so far is the beef and mushroom pie.

Hi
You can find the neoprene coolers at Hot Wave Wetuits in Chalong close to the pier. They also do the artwork etc for ads.

So so sorry to hear your sad news Intoxicajun! I have the same concerns with my 3 dogs and 6 cats. Many cobras in our area.

Update on the pork and egg pie:
Delicious!
-
We received our first order from Mr and Mrs Chiang Mai today. Thank you! Beautifully presented and packaged and a few freebies thrown in for us to sample. We have just wolfed down the chicken and the beef and mushroom pies and they are absolutely delicious!!! Perfect crusty pastry with generous fillings and sauce.
I have tried all the various pies and these are IMO the best.
Well worth it! Place your orders now.
-
Well Guys - I placed my order. Am ready with my knife and fork!!!
-
Some friends of mine a couple of years ago used to make pies and deliver to the bars and some restaurants. They were very popular then.
Otherwise can I order half a dozen cornish pasties and a few beef pies for a start to be delivered to my shop in Kata? If you can, please let me know the cost?

Agree with Bill Stickers
just returned this week from Club Andaman. Had a nice stay there and took a relaxing drive back rather than do the entire trip in 1 day. Presently the accommodation inc breakfast costs 1500 baht per day.

Misterman,
downstairs at Big C is called Bas computers. They have 2 shops there. Always been happy with their services.

Sounds great Chantal, thank you!
Next week Thursday I'm in BKK, the week after for sure!
Some more members coming???
Gerd
See you the week after Gerd. Hope more members can come. BTW one of the musicians in the group is a TV member.
-
For those of you who enjoy good R and B music, I highly recommend seeing this group of pro's. They play at Joe Kools in Karon every Thursday night. For music lovers they are fantastic! There is no cover charge and the establishment offer 30% discount on the food as well as 2 for the price of one on draught beers.

Ozy - don't know about Swans but for Peacocks why not contact the staff at The Hilton. They have quite a few Peacocks on the premises so perhaps they can help you.
-
Another good option is Mom Tri's Boathouse (boutique style) located directly on the southern end of Kata Beach.

To the OP:
For retail sales I highly recommend Waterworld in Patong to you. They have a wide selection to choose from. Also I believe the staff there would give you some fair advice.
With regards to the high season it starts early November and for the finest Liveaboard boat - MV Ocean Rover is by far the best IMO. Another excellent option is The Junk - MV June Hong Chian Lee. There are other less expensive options and if you are keen to know more feel welcome to contact me or Steven. If you have not dived The Similans/Richelieu Rock and the southern islands Hin Daeng/Hin Muang the best months are March/April as we tend to see more of the bigger pelagics then.
For efficiently run daytrips:
1) MV Greta owned by Calypso divers
2) MV Reefcruiser owned by Eurodivers
Otherwise Percy - if you care to read the previous posts on this particular thread you will see that it is no secret that I work in the Diving Industry. Also it is fairly common knowledge amongst many people that StevenL is also involved the industry. If you did not know this at least now you know. Furthermore I have certainly not recommended my operation. Refer back and you will see that somebody else did. I have simply offered some advice to the OP which is what I gather this thread is all about.
OP hope this helps.

depends on which package you go for? Speak to Nicki at The Hilton. Quite a few of us have this membership deal. 2 Years ago we took advantage of the free night at the Hilton here for the Melbourne Cup day. It was great!!!
-
Wow Percy
You have made some very strong statements about the diving industry on Phuket as a whole. Some of your claims I totally disagree with but then we are all entitled to our own opinions irrespective of whether we work in the industry or not.
In reply to Kiahaha:
1) the best dive supplies shop? A lot of it depends on what brands and products you are looking for? There are quite a few good retailers offering excellent services - but they represent various brands. If you are not sure what you are looking for please feel welcome to contact either myself or StevenL and I am sure that between us you can get some good advice. Alternatively do a google and check out further recommendations.
2) the best dive operator? There are so many good operations on Phuket so I guess a lot would depend on where you will be located for convenience sake. For example if you are based in Kamala it would make sense to dive with a reputable operator situated there rather than 1 located on the opposite end of the island. Let us know where you will be staying so that we can make some recommendations.
Otherwise you are most welcome to contact me or StevenL (many thanks Donna) if you need any assistance. Even better if you find yourselves in our areas pop in for a refreshment and a chat. I believe that it is always better to meet the DC operators first - check out the operation and from there you will get a good gut feel on who you would be most comfortable with.
Hope this is of some help to you.

Sorry to hear that some of you have had bad experiences with the Bangkok Phuket Hospital. I was very fortunate with my experience there. They cured me completely within 2 months (everyday for an hour of treatment) from suffering the Bells Palsy. The staff were fantastic!!

The Gym and Squash facilities are excellent at The Hilton. We have been Hilton members for a couple of years and the facilities overall are really worth it. Included in the membership is a free night at a Hilton establishment which is great for Visa Runs (we have taken out 2 memberships).
-
The latest we have heard is that it was a dive/snorkel boat from a company on Ao Nang. Do not want to mention the company/boat name in case of misinformation but the supposed good news is that everyone has been saved. Hope that this is true.

tb 42,
Surely you must have a record or proof of what is owed to you? You could take this to the Labour Department and get them to assist you.
