It's a bit of a stretch to lump Khun Thaksin in with the murderer Boss (cue: what about the extra judicial killings?). Here's the difference: Mr T voluntarily came back to a warm welcome from the majority of Thais. If Boss were to return he would be torn limb from limb by the Thai people. I take your point about being bored with wall to wall Mr T posts but I find the uninformed vitriol coming from certain posters quite entertaining.

I hope Mr T goes back to jail for the short term then comes out and says that he forgives those who stitched him up on charges brought before a judiciary who were compliant to the wishes of the illegal military junta. They also, conveniently, forget to mention that Mr T was a billionaire businessman before entering politics. My partner, for one, will welcome him back if only for one reason: If he hadn't reformed health care funding she wouldn't have paid just 30 baht for a 7 day hospital stay which entailed 2 minor operations. I always praise a Thai person when they try out their English on me and I help them. Judging by some posts here on this subject there are some miserable, anti-social farang who are like the Brits who moved to Spain and are proud of the fact that they don't speak Spanish and only eat egg and chips.
