Oh well. I haven't read that and I read news sources that are valid not conspiracy trash websites. I sure hope that you don't.
One friend of mine in Nepal believed what you did. He is dead now. Can you imagine having nothing and seeing tourism dry up and not knowing what to do, trying to feed your family and ending up dying from COVID anyways? He was the nicest guy you could imagine too.
Do you consider the CDC a "trash website"?
I feel for those whose lives have been destroyed over the panic that is the covid response, I see it every day, so don't play the shame game with me... Facts don't care about your feelings...

Yeah, and the death rate in Thailand is a fraction of what is being reported in the western world, so it is pertinent...
In case you haven't done the math, the death toll from covid in Thailand is a rounding error, 0.000001109% of the total population, yet many are losing their minds...

How many of these 22,000 were sick or had any symptoms?
In some regions of the world, up to 85% of people that test positive for the Rona display zero symptoms...
Fear is the mind killer...

Good luck with that as I have read that over 85% of the world's population eats meat, whereas vegans makeup roughly 3 - 5% of the global population... Global meat consumption has doubled over the last 50 years... There is no more vocal group railing against meat consumption than vegans... When was the last time you read of a meat-eater railing against vegans, except for calling them out on their virtue signaling?

Short answer, no...
Long answer, the future of humanity does not look very bright when you consider the plans that Mr Globaloney has for us... I don't want to stick around to experience it...
-
The conditions are too restrictive...
There will be a trickle of tourists who will visit that will quickly sour on the experience...
On another note, what about those of us that live in Thailand, have been here for years, have not had the jab and want to holiday on Samui... Are we going to be refused entry?

I wouldn't say those who are skeptical about the vaccines being offered are woke, I would say they are awake... Trust in the media and governments around the globe are at an all time low... People are searching elsewhere for information and are questioning the official narrative...

Hmm, the march toward sustainable development...
Where have I heard that before?

This reminds me of the series Big Trouble in Tourist Thailand that ran for a season on UK TV a few years ago... I am no longer surprised what these yobs get into in the Thai tourist traps these days...

I know what you mean with government apps. Mor seems to work. The Bangkok Bank app works great. It lets me spend money based on what is in my account in real time by scanning a QR code, no reason an App cannot track the validity of vaccination data or negative covid test result stored by a third party, .
There is more to it than just having an app...
Who designs, develops, tests and manages said app?
Who certifies that the data gathered is correct as collected from hundreds of injection sites and medical facilities?
Who or what processes are used in gathering injection information across all medical facilities in the country?
Who is certifying that the injections from various manufacturers are safe and effective since all of the "vaccines" are experimental and none of the manufacturers bear any liability for injuries caused by them...
And the biggest question is, who pays for it?

Does this answer your question?
"Mike Yeadon, ex-Chief Scientist of Pfizer, has stated that it may be too late to save those who have been injected with any Covid-19 vaccine. He urges those who have not yet been injected with the deadly compound to reject it to save their lives and the lives of their children. The world acclaimed immunologist warns that many more people will probably yet be injured or killed by the vaccination program. Many have died within 2 weeks of the shot. Many more are expected to be injured or killed by the long-term affects of the vaccine with increasing danger with every top-up or “booster” injection."

Is that the C 200 diesel?
No, it started life as a CLK240, benzine...

Noice. Which model?
Like most things in Thailand, it is not as it appears... The base car is a CLK240, but it has had the entire CLK63 Black body kit installed which was purchased from Benz in Germany... The hood (bonnet) is aftermarket as the factory CLK63 did not come with hood vents... The modifications were done by KJ Modify in Hat Yai... It also has the CLK63 exhaust, steering wheel and disc brakes... It handles really, really well, but as far as power, it won't pull a greased string out of a cat's <deleted>... I've been looking for an aftermarket turbo system, but no luck so far... My mechanic says we can yank the stock engine and put a 2JZ in it to get more power, but that's a bridge I don't want to cross for now...

And thus, the problem with this virus. You can have NO symptoms and be spreading it around to your family and friends. Who might get sick, end up in the hospital, or die. You can even get the virus if you're fully vaccinated, and spread it around.
There is still a debate on whether asymptomatic transfer of this virus is actually taking place... For the sake of discussion, let's say that asymptomatic transfer does take place and people who have this virus and do not show symptoms can transfer it to other people... How is this virus different than every other virus that the populace has experienced throughout history? The most vulnerable segment of society for covid19 are the elderly that have other co-morbidities... The same can be said for every respiratory illness through history... If you examine the cause of death for many elderly people you will find what actually kills them in the end is pneumonia, even if they have other illnesses that led them to being hospitalized...
This is the first time in history that the entire planet has been locked down for the sake of preventing the transfer of a respiratory illness Instead of protecting those most susceptible to this virus and by all estimation it has not worked because the virus continues to spread... The impact to global economies and the livelihoods of people everywhere has been impacted due to the draconian measures to stop it's spread... And all for a virus which has a 99.9% survival rate if you do catch it...
Your final sentence is quite telling, is a vaccine actually a vaccine when it does not prevent you from catching the virus and transmitting it to others?
-
One thing that bothers me about the spikes in "cases" of covid is that they never report how many of these people are asymptomatic... Many people have already built the antibodies against the virus, yet still test positive for the virus... Many people report that they had no idea that they had the virus as they demonstrate no symptoms and have no fever...

You may want to lookup the definition of "expat"...

I like it here... If I didn't, I would go somewhere else, but after traveling the world and living / working in 50+ different countries, I chose Thailand to be my home in retirement... As always, YMMV...

very few because very few were tested.
You cannot find what you are not looking for.
Even when using a testing protocol that was never designed to test what you are looking for in the first place?
Never mind that the scientist that created the PCR test has publicly stated that this test should not be used outside of a laboratory environment to test for anything, much less covid19... And when you crank up the cycle counts in the testing procedures, you can get a goat or pawpaw fruit to test positive for covid...

Do you want to ban automobiles too as they are far more deadly than this virus?
Death is a part of life, none of us get out of here alive... The question is, does the risk justify the damage being done via the lockdowns and shutting down of economies...
