Last time I went it took about 1 hr. max you pay an extra 300b for not staying overnight. I had an E-visa and didn't stay overnight. A hotel address was not needed. Yes it is the nearest boarder, about 90k from Trat city. By the way the old CenterPoint ferry is running again, no queuing, closer to Trat, but a very limited service. Friendly staff and a proper sit on toilet.

The thing is they always speak in Thai so when I say I'm a Falang they immediately hang up. lol

Hi, Just on our way back from Trat immigration, where I got my marriage extension final stamp today, (they did ring my wife yesterday a day early to say everything was ready), but Ironically a couple of hours later after leaving today, Mrs. B. gets a call "hallo this is the police" she immediately hung up. Shame it didn't happen in the IO really as she could have handed the phone to an IO officer. Anyway it was a New Zealand pre-fix, how do they call from a NZ number? +6436078281.
