  2. Sometimes depending on amount, their charge can be more than your bank. just saying.
  3. In can be in THB but buy doing that you get worse exchange rate. Send in your currency and message to bank "Do not exchange funds'' otherwise sometimes it will be exchanged by a 'holding bank' first, giving you a lower rate. happened to me twice.

  6. Prisoners I have seen in Govt hospitals wear leg irons, wich they have to hold of the ground while shuffling along, skinny and hungry. That is the whole point of the school, they test you, They take you to the office, after they have passed you, and they are with you, i never saw any certificate, its just what my wife told me, you have already passed the test.'' we go get license today'' there is no more testing. I have never been so impressed by a Thai business, no rip offs, they even took/showed us to a cheap motel nearby. The school has vending machines/pot noodles, a lunch break. They have about 7 staff.
  14. I think someone is giving you bad info, your names do not have to be the same not all Thai wife's take their husbands name, and many are here on marriage extensions and there is no law to say so. Whatever her name is her ID NUMBER STAYS THE SAME !!
  15. She could change her name back at the Amphur office, walk across the road to the land office, register the land, walk back to Amphur and change her name again, her ID number does not change.

  17. It just takes them 15 min to change their name, but their ID number stays the same.
  18. My wife changed her name to mine, of course she still owns our house and land. she also owns land in 2 other provinces.
  19. Any It seems that the Amphurs have the best central computer system of any govt. officials, even when we die your death will be registered with them.
