  1. Nah it finished at 9.15am he was still in airport.
  2. Sponsored by pop corn sellers, I'm running out. ????
  3. Well done to the Mum for trying to get it sorted, where is Dad in this story?
  4. Pot ash is good for lawns apparently.
  5. No its for all married to a Thai, it is basically to prove you are still married and not divorced, you can obtain one from any Amphur office for about 20b in about 15min. You need one every year when making an extension, Trat must be same day.
  6. Please, Can they wait a bit till I've sold my bridge, and my African princess has sent my gifts.
  7. This is a pot of jam made with strawberries
  8. It is supposed to be free, with a few days wait, but their seems to be an 'Express' fee at some offices 200-500 baht, do not expect a receipt for this Bribe 'fee'.
  9. Jeez nearly the same price as Chanthaburi and half the time, ( although that was 5 yrs ago)there is no set time either for any part of the test, keep trying till you get it right. I was amazed my missus past the computer questions, first time, she told me you just keep doing it over and over, I asked her what if you still don't get it right after a day "go back tomorrow''
  10. Not L plates but the cars in Chanthaburi school have a large sign saying driver under instruction.
  11. Yes that is correct, the rule changed in 2013. I had the same problem last year and posted the story here.
  12. Utter nonsense, IMO unless you are a qualified instructor with signs on the car driver under instruction.
  13. the school has about ten computers, 2 duel control auto cars + 2 stick pick ups, they take them on the road through Chanthaburi, so I'd say about 15+ people, they are all doing different parts of the test, you can practice parking all day, on site, shown how to check oil and water, date on tyres they also take them all for the medicals 115b then, when everybody has passed, off to the transport office for their license. 20hrs over a few days. They do M/C tests on other days was 1 k
  14. I'd stay clear of schools at all times, in my area there are supermarket car parks with no gates, or 'waste' ground where markets are some times held.
  15. What is the point as the schools IME take you to the transport office for your license (as a group) if your not 18 then you can't be given the license. I can't see someone turning up say six months later and produce the schools documents expecting their license. How can the school teach you as they do, on the road in their duel control cars?
  16. My wife used the one in Chanthaburi and on the first day they gave her the 'highway code' to study at home.
  17. Now you tell me
  18. I brought the cheapest tallest one no probs, but then soft close lids were not available, chose your bowl, chose your seat, squat toilets only have a small hole and I've never seen one block.
  19. Sit the other way round
  20. This is why a lawyers letter could be very useful, you tell them what you want, and they write a letter for the land office in Thai and English and point out the LAW in whatever area of that law is, that, in theory they have to abide to, once they see you are using a lawyer they will IMO back down. for 4k I'd do it rather than trying to find a law that applies to me and then having to try explaining it to the land office
