  1. We had to complain a lot, just to get some of the emojis back, I do miss the rolling eyes. ???? Now have some ads that are not marked as ads and can be easily clicked on by mistake. Oops nearly forgot one golden rule, You Will Not Criticize. see you in a week.
  2. Over 4 years, about 59k $ a year split how many ways 14 about 4,000 dollars a year if split equally which I doubt very much. Bar girls can easily earn that a year. So a friend told me.

Yes their are a few internet companies, I use TOT you can pay cash at their office every month, they send a bill, I pay 524.30 every month, I find TOT very good service, any probs and they are normally out in a couple of hours, they even came and moved my router to another room, free. up to eight people can use it. (or you could use a mobile phone as your hotspot.)

  10. Optic cable connection can be paid in cash monthly or direct debit, if you live in Thailand you need a bank account.
  11. There will be one power company PEA, billed once a month, you can pay by direct debit, 7/11, if after 7 days you must go to your local REA office. the bill still arrives once a month in a plastic holder on your meter. Condos will vary on charges.

The first thing you need to do, is get your UK marriage cert. translated, and I believe registered at an Amphur (council office) have a Thai bank account with 400k take your wife marriage cert. etc. that will help open a bank account, you may need a letter of residence from immigration (that is a long story). once you have your 400k in the bank your up and running, the first time it may seem quite daunting, but treat it as a quest, you don't need an agent. go for it good luck
  16. I have found Maktec very robust, i have an angle grinder and it has done a lot of hard work, still never had to put the spare brushes in that were supplied, or their hammer drill. Now 5yrs old.
  17. Hi Crossy, just wondering while on the subject, an old friend of mine a qualified industrial electrician, once told me that if the shower units aren't earthed, you will not get hot water, is this so?
  18. Yes I've had personal experience of that. The mother turned out to be a gambler.
  19. What is she studying at Uni ? what is her favorite subject/, can she speak English?, Did her family appear to be able to afford the Uni fees? Ask her to bring her homework round.
