  1. 1.5 m in 9 years, yea sure, a frigging pancake seller could save that 456 baht a day, living rent free, and all bills paid. Is he still in his free house, what a crock of BS. One presumes he was getting the PM wage and his Army pension, even 15million I wouldn't believe, or $1.5m
  2. I managed to send an email asking what was happening and got very quick replies from AN support 🙏🏻 as I thought it was just me.
  3. IME. First you will be sent to Police Forensics in BKK, your death will be reported to your embassy, who will inform your closest living Relative (who's name should be written in the back of your Passport), the body can not be released until your death has been registered with the Amphur using the death cert. where you are registered as living. You could end up having a Pauper's cremation if no money is available. If you want to be cremated at your local Temple then someone will have to pay for the return of the body. I had a friend who died here, I can only recommend using a funeral service to do all the running around, one of the ones the OZ embassy recommended was Asiaone, very professional, kept good contact throughout Thanks to Jane and her staff. 43k to come to KC register his death, (collected some clothes of his to dress him), back to KC once the body was released and bring the coffin to the temple, My Mrs. B organized the cremation and we paid for that. Asiaone can also arrange to have remains returned to your country. I should add my friend died in hospital from an incurable illness MNS and in his last hours refused any more hospital treatment, but the police insisted he must be sent to BKK for autopsy. 5k with a receipt.
  4. Agree as said go up the to the top, there are elevators that will take you up or down to level 2, there is a walkway direct into arrivals, and there, is the "meeting point" sign, incase you need it.
  5. Easy to set up a sting, but I'd guess these officials are still at work as I type.

  12. Good they got these idiots but, This is just the opening paragraph and I don't understand a frigging word of the whole story, who made threats to who. What an awfully written article, I've got a headache just from trying to read it.

  15. Agree, The gun laws here are pathetic all guns should be locked in a gun cabinet, bolted to a wall, and inspected before a license is issued. being able to just leave them laying around for anyone to pick up is just so <deleted> Stupid. Edit; There should also be Mandatory sentencing for ANYBODY that breaks the gun laws.
  16. And pray tell what did he achieved for the Country? He seems to have achieved a large amount of money for himself though.
  17. A Bank cheque is normally honored by the bank, as it is not a personal cheque as such. IMO
  18. As with many of these stories, I never know if it's the same one, or a new one, they appear so often.
  19. Another waste of space, drug taking, alky who probably gambles as well. Not sure what danger she saw in someone stealing 2 beers though, nothing to say he was waving his knifes around, unless she could see them on his person.
