That is the problem there Are long queues especially on long weekends, you can queue for 3+ hours on leaving, it backs up a long way, I have seen it backed up the 'Mountain'. There are two ferries but the Centre point one is very limited to 4 a day, (before Covid it was one every hour, is a lot closer to Trat, and the Immigation Office. but they leave when on time of their Time table, western toilet, smiling staff, 50% discount membership card 200b pa. Thammachat take ages to load, squeeze/pack in as many as they can to a point you are trapped in your car and only leave when full, only have squat toilet, up a steep flight of stairs. That's NO, NO, and NO. The most ridicules Idea ever, the whole Island would become gridlocked, especially on long weekends. The road over the mountain with it's hairpin bends and steep gradients one sign is 8%, people can't drive here within the yellow lines, taking them wide, with no thought for on coming traffic, just yesterday I saw an accident because of this. No Idea if it's the dogs really ?? do some research on these killer breeds. Here they don't like to put dogs down because of 'Buddhism' but it's not illigal to do so, they a. should be put down, b. Ban such breeds. A lot of western countries have banned these dogs for good reason, nothing to do with members on this forum.
