  1. This is ridiculous pairing tourists with minders........ their on holiday why on earth would you come here if you need a minder and have to wear a wristband. Instead of blaming it on the stupid tourist who need a wristband and a babysitter as they think why not clean up the crime instead. Wouldn't its ring alarm bells in potential tourist if they are being supplied with I. D. bracelets especially families thinking of visiting.

  2. GMMZ box buy the hd box 2,500 baht and you'll get a few English channels, you can then phone them and ask for the full package plus CTH football channels if you want. They'll give you a code and you'll go pay the extra at a 7/11, by the time we got back home everything was working. More than enough channels cheaper than True and no rain fade.

  3. Just a thought but are there Angel fish in the same pot as the ones that are not producing because they would wolf down any fry in the tank and Guppies are easiest of the lot for breeding. Maybe you already know but on the outside of Chatuchak everyday is the tropical fish market, you can get everything you've need their and the fish are really cheap amazing place if your into fish.

  4. Thanks for replying, we were thinking about that too but thought we'd go with the easier Thai version first and get settled down as we've no plans to go back to the UK just yet but worth considering

  5. Don't live there but was there in April to renew my visa, nice hotel on the riverside is The Riverfront Hotel cost us 800 baht per night and looked out across to Loas. Nice shopping around the promenade area and your right outside the underground market but beware come dusk everything and I mean everything closes down much to the wife's disappointment. Done a little shopping and went for a rest fixing to do some more and have a nice meal in the evening never seen a ace change so fast, prices are good though we bought two lounger chairs sell for 1500 baht each in Thai Watsadu got them for 480 baht each.

Don't bother with Savannakhet absolutely nothing two do and your wife won't enjoy the shopping only Singapore Market there and was more expensive than Mukdahan add onto that your 1500 baht Loas visa and much better idea to stay Thai side.

  6. We're going to adopt a new born Thai baby, we've lived here for ten years my wife is Thai with UK citizenship. Has anyone gone through the procedure that can give us some pointers. We've heard that it's easier to go for a Thai adoption will there be any problems adding me as the adoptive father being a foreigner. In the future we would like to go for an international adoption so as too be able to get the baby a UK passport.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  8. Saw one time a women get out a taxi and say to another beggar she was late, half an hour later seen her in rags begging 200 yards further up the street. Also seen a girl taking money off a beggar and giving her a cup, if you notice all the beggars in the same area usually have the same cups.
