  1. Sniffdog that's why I posted it's nearly nearly 5,000 baht cheaper, as far as I'm aware there's only two pro 12.2 a wifi version and a 3g version which is what this is. By the way I could also buy one and a sofa if I wished.

  2. Anyone interested in buying a Galaxy pro 12.2 Central World at Rama 9 Samsung shop now selling 24,900 baht, 4 to 5,000 off the original price. Was nearly tempted till a little voice said 'I need a new sofa'.

  3. Was thinking of doing that I'm back home next week so we'll go into Thai Watsadu (my favourite shop) and see what they can suggest. Still find it strange there's not more choice around though.

  5. Was looking for something like this http://www.batterysavers.com/Large_Battery_Operated_Fan.htm but it looks like I'll have to order from the US. as that's where they all seem to be. UPS don't seem to last so long for the price was looking at the Duracell power pack around 6,000 baht but again you would have to import it. I'd like the rechargeable fans with the choice of also using batteries so if the. the charge runs out then you have the option of plugging in some batteries and getting a few more hours of cool.

  7. You would think especially this time of year you would be able to buy them everywhere. Reason I want one is we're starting to get power cuts now, last one else was at 10.00pm no aircon no fan but lots of heat. On line I can see lots for sale on Amazon and such like but nowhere in Thailand even went to Ban Mo today and they only had small usb or 12 volt ones.

  9. What makes this sound ridiculous was that a couple of months ago we were driving back home from Buriram at the same time school finished and had to stop as a big truck was coming out of a school full of school kids with about twenty sitting fifteen feet off the ground on the roof one sudden stop and they would have all fell to the ground...... .. can't remember them wearing seatbelts up there though.

  10. Thinking the same thing just hope they had some common sense, never mind only two hours left then we're off here and hopefully the rest of them eight hours ahead off them.

  13. If your on a budget then the Tab 2 is virtually the same as Tab 3 only a little lighter and the speakers have been put on the side instead of the front making it a tad smaller. But you can buy a Tab2 in MBK Bangkok now for around 8,900 baht. I've got one of these and was looking to upgrade but the 2 does everything the 3 does and can't see the point of spending money for a little bit different look.

  14. Some people still take a bus ? Stupid or suicidal ?

Never had a problem with government buses I've been travelling at least once every month for the last six years to Bangkok and never a problem. But I would never take an overnight bus and would definitely not take private tour buses, seen too many crazies pass me with a death wish.
