If you wish to work in the United States for a temporary period you will require a nonimmigrant work visa. You cannot work on a visitor or business visa, or under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Unlike some countries, the United States government does not issue work visas for casual employment. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/temporary-employment/#:~:text=If you wish to work, work visas for casual employment. -

When you make the reservation make sure that the date you expect delivery is written into the reservation also be aware around this time of year some brands will do what they call minor changes where they will change the specs normally the build using old specs to a certain date and after that date all builds are built using new specs

You haven't really been given a meaningful date what you have been given is a date that the salesperson thought might be acceptable to you in order to secure your reservation. Its unlikely that your salesperson at the dealership would know total number of orders allocated to the production line that will assembly your car, its also unlikely that a salesperson at the dealership will know which weeks car's designated for Thailand will be built or what priority sequence for different paint colours. Personally I see the Volvo app as a value added product that provides their customers at what stage their order processing is at I suspect Volvo doesn't provide a definitive end date until the car has cleared both outbound and inbound customs and is on the delivery truck to the dealership. Brands that current have long waiting lists you have to think how much resource and costs for the resources for both the local dealerships, in country head office and parent company head office is trying to provide the end customer with the information that they are seeking. I suspect Volvo have done their homework and found they can reduce those costs by providing the app
-
I didn't see any posts where people stated they were buying a Volvo EV what they did state is they prefer the order processing system where Volvo provides updates to the the end customer of the progress on their order and estimated delivery schedule. Its not that diffcult to setup Dealer submits reservations to manufacturer, manufacturer confirms receipt of reservation to end customer, together with ETA for when vehicle will enter production line and ETA for when vehicle will arrive at dealership
-
Many people in this facebook group are cancelling their reservations because there is no feeback on delivery times once they have placed their reservation https://www.facebook.com/groups/2572340166118367 It appears that Volvo do provide an app called My volvo which does provide the end customer with feedback such as when you vehicle is scheduled to start the production line, when it leaves the factory and when it arrives at the dealership. Look forward to the time when all brands offer a similar type of progress update service

If check out the MG zs ev Thailand facebook pages you may get the car that you ordered quicker than you expected as many people have posted that they have cancelled their reservations as when they ask questions on delivery dates they received no response. If you order a morgan car they clearly state on their website that typical waiting times are between 6 months and 12 months but any timeframe is better than no timeframe or no response to your queries

You post doesn't make any sense , your 1st post indicates that MG took 3000 reservations at the Bangkok Motor show which was end of March 2022 So for the past 3 months Number of MG EP registrations stands at 200 for the number of MG ZS EV registrations currently stands at 32 Compared that to the numbers of Ora cat for the past 3 months number of registrations stands at 852 We know that 14th May 2022 MG announces closure of reservations for 100% electric vehicles, model NEW MG EP PLUS As for this forum and comments made on this forum there isnt a single automotive manufacturer that would operate a business just solely for the members of this forum it wouldn't be cost effective number of members of this forum XXXX, Number of Thai population 70 million

You may have to wait until next year for the EP Plus MG announces the closure of reservations for a 100% electric vehicle model NEW MG EP PLUS 14 May 2022 https://www.mgcars.com/th/NewsActivities/Detail/MG-EP-PLUS

Sorry to disppoint you but my comparison of non-smokers living in condos asking them to pay towards installing a smoking room with maintenance that they wouldn't use is the same as asking non ev owners to bay for chargers and maintenance both groups will stated we get no benefit from these services, we don't use these services and we have no intention of paying for something that we don't use So comparison stands and is valid
-
I suspect most condo building owners will go for the cheapest option and offer nothing
-
According to the results of the study of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Each type of electric vehicle charging station requires an average investment of 2-3 million baht per installation of 1 AC or 1 DC unit with a parking space. with a payback period of approximately 2-4 years. https://www.thansettakij.com/property/531406
-
It will be interesting to see how that plays out When a condo building owner installs and provides a cleaning service for a smoking area they all receive complaints from non-smokers stating we refused to pay for that area A charging unit costs between 2-3 million baht plus maintenance I am sure the non ev owners will state we refused to pay any additional charge

Once again It would appear you have no sensible solutions
-
Did I say it was a frequent problem No I didn't but it does occur and it appears you are unable to provide a sensible solution
