  1. Update

my lawyers has filed criminal charges

    Embezzlement

    Damage to belongings

    Invasion

Each of the above could carry sentences of upto three years

Against two danish men and one thai lady

Next hearing is scheduled for Dec 7 2021

Despite paying eight million they have now applied to the judge for free legal aid, something that amazes me, also two are not even thai

We have FOURTEEN  additional criminal offenses possibly committed, Bangfang police are doing little, my lawyer has filed formal complaint, each could carry a sentence of one year

Next week I am going to elevate police complaint to level above Khon Kaen City to the level at KhonKaen provence

I continue to look for help this THIS IS NOT A WIND UP POST

I have three different cancers now 5 years on and yesterday had a very positive hospital appointment

They cant Keep your personal property though.

That's so wrong in so many ways.

Quite a lot of help thank you all

    However this is Thailand

One side is outright lying how do we prove it is not us difficult

You say they can not keep personal property are you referring to furniture beds fridges etc what is your basis for this comment, at the moment they have it all

You say wrong in so many ways, i agree but what do we do, incidentally i have three lots of cancer and can not even get my special reclining  chair

I am buying many things new

We are assured in dec we will win, but patience and waiting not one of my strengths

In court when they were applying for adjournment the lady said they paid 4.0M for F&F then her exhusband said  15 mins later we could have all our belongings back if we paid 500,000 to which i replied blackmail, they paid 4.0 M but will sell back for 500,000 makes no sense

    OP was set up.

Thank you yes thats our belief, we were set up,  but at least i got paid all the money just missing belongings amounting to well over 2.0M

We have registered a lien over the property  and land at the land office

On investigating the purchasers there is a lot of evidence of similar wrong doings in collusion with the local police about six years ago

I do not want to open the can of worms on police complicity and involvement it could be too dangerous, the same police are again involved

Lawyer was employed about a week after sale, I think and believe honest, I hope so

When we were evicted both he and the police were present

By eviction I mean we had gone out of our house and the purchasers blocked our drive and prevented us entering  our property on returning from shopping, our maid was present as was the gardener and my wifes son, the house was not left vacant

Our agreement to remain until end of october and caretake the property was NOT documented

We at this stage still had not handed over the keys to the houses but had given a gate key only

The purchasers then forced entry, that again we reported to the police, but they did nothing

Our lawyer has commenced criminal proceedings on several counts

  4. 20 hours ago, Kwasaki said:

I think OP is a troll.

    Sadly this is very real

there was no separate sale and purchase agreement

Viewed first time on a Tuesday, offer made, tried to improve it but could not Accepted offer

was paid 8.0 M at land office on Thursday, at least I got my money

    21 hours ago, MrJ2U said:

    Thailand doesn't recognize verbal contracts.

This statement is if factual helpful can anyone else verify it

The three purchasers are lying in unison and  are all saying there was a verbal contract for the sale of F & F

If and only if the above statement is correct there claim is then not valid

    • Sad 1
  5. The sale and purchase agreement was done in the land office, and included only land and buildings, in the narative bit

It did not include what was NOT included

There was no written agreement for us to stay and caretake for three months, YES on my behalf a major mistake

Problem is two danish and one thai are all lying together in unison

In court again yesterday Thai lady as registered owner said they paid 4.0 M for the land and buildings and 4.0m for the non listed F and F

The exhusband says we have no contract to stay for three months I reply they have no contract for the moveable F and F

Her ex husband then said he would release all if we paid back 500,000, I replied blakkmail if in all honesty they had paid 4.0 m for F & F make no sense to sell them back for just over 10% of cost

    Now adjourned until dec 5

These two have apparently been involved in similar scams in the past, and had the assistance of the police so we understand

  6. We lived in our house some 12 yrs

We sold it and were paid, the contract was registered at the land office and only said land and buildings

it was verbally agreed we caretake for three months, DURING WHICH TIME WE LEISURELY PACK AND MOVE

Two weeks later everything change the purchaser says we have no right to remain or contract

    We are physically evicted

We are not allowed to remove our furniture including many family antiques

We have criminal cases and civil cases in progress but they keep adjourning them

We have doubts on the honesty of our lawyer

In the UK we would have sitting tenants rights and some protection, I am aware we are in thailand

THE  LOCAL POLICE DO NOT WANT TO KNOW

ANY INPUT OR HELP VERY GREATLY APPRECIATED we are in great distress

A member of my family has an appointment at a hospital in Bangkok next week referred by the local hospital in Kanchanaburi province. It is important as they suspect cancer and so need to have this confirmed (or not, as the case may be).  My family member is very concerned about going to Bangkok and secondly having to attend a busy hospital and potentially being surrounded by Covid positive patients. Also would they (someone has to accompany this person)  be required to Quarantine on returning home? It's difficult for people to know not only what is best to do, but also how to the latest rules affect them.

Cancer kills , I have three lots, Covid the death rate is low , and sadly badly over hyped by the govt

I have regular appointments at Srinakarin teaching hospital in KK

Please go for your appointment, just wear the mask and sanitise hands on arrival and also on LEAVING, the second is the most important, also when in the hospital do not touch your eyes, Covid has to get into your body, will not penetrate skin, so I understand, I am not an expert but use common sense

A lot of Thais live with grandparents. Quite a lot I know are most worried about it being brought home to the elderly. Also, children can still suffer from Long Covid.

Here in Issan in the villages the fear of Covid is terrible, and over hyped up

Now compare to motor bike deaths, and accidents may I suggest over reaction, we deal with Flu all the time

Maybe you can answer my query then, as you seem quite knowledgeable, pensions from DWP are taxed at source, but what i've read on TVF is the tax deducted assumes you get the yearly increase paltry that it might be, but would mount up after a few years in LOS, would you know if this is true, ie are you taxed as though you have received the annual increases?

Just to try and clarify I receive a local pension LPFA which does get the yearly increase, as well as the DWP pension!

All taxation at source done on estimates, I think I get the max UK pension, and pay no tax, also am no longer required to file a tax return

Whilst working in UK all tax deducted is done based on tax code, and if wrong will be adjusted when final tax return done, during year can also request tax code be amended

If you think your tax is too much or incorrect contact the UK tax authorities

There are many ex UK residents, using accommodation addresses in UK so as to get increases, and of course they are afraid to contact the UK revenue, as receiving the increases when outside the UK and living in Thailand, is blatant FRAUD

The fact the increase is paid automatically is no defense

If you have been getting the increases incorrectly my advice is clean up your act , by telling UK pensions office you are effective next month resident here in Thailand, and you may well keep what you have already had and be safer than being caught later, catching tax evaders and cheats improves every day

  10. Yes it is serious

BUT how many are actually dying surely a more important statistic

Deaths below age 30 very few so why are schools closed

Solution vaccine, but why is it taking so long, Thailand has ability to manufacture vacine under licience, vaccination here hardly started but in other parts of the world well on its way

The side effects of covid, no work, no money for many are far greater than a few deaths

Not true just have a UK current bank account using UK address, family member, friend whatever, ship capital over here when required still get pension increase no tax in Thailand also claim back all tax paid by Thai bank on your capital over here because you haven't any Thai income,             easy-peasy????????

Sure. If you want the annual increase, move to the Philippines!

I posted factual information relating only to thailand, and stated that, my wish was to assist and correct a lot of wrong information

There are many countries where the increase is still paid

Using UK address to get pension increases, and living in Thailand is out and out fraud, if you were identified by your dishonest post you would at best be made to repay or even face a jail sentence

I resist from posting a lot these days because of so many NEGATIVE people on the forum

  12. Some facts that may be of interest

Diazepam, first marketed as Valium, is a medicine  used to treat a range of conditions,

Common side effects include sleepiness and trouble with coordination.Serious side effects are rare.

Diazepam was patented in 1959 by  Hoffmann -La Roche. It has been one of the most frequently prescribed medications in the world since its launch in 1963In the United States it was the highest selling medication between 1968 and 1982, selling more than 2 billion tablets in 1978 alone. In 2018, it was the 115th most commonly prescribed medication in the United States, with more than 6 million prescriptions.

In 1985 the patent ended, and there are more than 500 brands available on the market. It is on the  World health List of Essential Medicines

Hope and pray the driving and the Samsong are on different days.

Bit judgemental thought you need to keep attention on your own problems

How about road deaths and lack of crash hats

    From your own profile

If we merge mercy with might, and might with right, then love becomes our legacy and change, our children’s birthright.

An old ill man admits he is happy also drinks samsong every day, and you set about him, NOT NICE, we eat out most nights I drive there my wife drives home, in my post I did say expect to be attacked

I need to stay away from TV and the sickness it can be catching

  14. A lot of misinformation on this thread double check before acting

Diazepam vs Lorazepam I use both and still prefer Valium, however there is a reluctance of  doctors and hospitals, in Thailand to prescribe, however I can bypass this (without doing anything illegal, other than a few smiles) and keep 30/50 diazepam close to hand

    Diazepam is not illegal

I have had a lot of absolutely excellent medical care, including major surgery, many MRI s, all at very sensible affordable cost

I am 76 three lots of major cancer, HAPPY, CONTENTED, AND ENJOYING LIFE STRUGGLING TO WALK BUT STILL DRIVING, drinking about 1/3 bottle samsong most days, if life becomes awful or full of pain I do have a plan that will work to quietly end it all !!

If you post honest factual information you need to expect to be attacked on this forum, there are sadly many in Thailand who should not be here, they scam the UK pensions, on increases and bribe for extension renewals

    Thank you God

Call your medical insurer, if none follow below

Suggestions urgent Taxi to large preferably teaching hospital in your area,

  16. As a retired UK Chartered Accountant having lived in Thailand over 12 yrs, I comment as follows

Pensions received in thailand are not taxable in Thailand

Pensions paid to people living here are not eligible for the annual increase

As regards the UK whether resident there or not, all income including pensions, dividends, interest, rental income etc,  above the tax free allowance is subject to tax generally being deducted by the UK Pensions office, and other pension companies paying from the UK at source

Thailand generally is a very tax friendly country to retired people

Five years ago I agreed with no assets in the UK, and my pension below the personal allowance, I no longer have to file any tax returns unless my position changes
