I figured it was not difficult to get in the UK which always leaves me perplexed as to why the morons with suitcases full of bud take the risk trying to fly it back the the UK with a stop-over in some Muslim country where they'll execute you if caught.  Makes no sense. But then again, taking the risk of trafficking drugs is sort of stupid imho if you value you life.

You seem to be a non smoker/user, so let me explain a very important detail:

Not all the strains of cannabis are the same. Some strains found in Thailand can be excellent, with the right amount of THC and CBD desired, also the differences between Sativa, Indica and hybrid.

There's no way an European, illegal market like the UK could match that. No way.

A great nation that brutally brutally attacked, killed, plundered and conquered half the world by force of arms. What once made us great, now brings us into disrepute.

But come the next world war but one (fought with swords and clubs) ....... we'll be back in fashion again!

    Back on topic,

Loads of cannabis in the UK, a lot grown locally, and easily purchased in the smoking shed of your pub's back garden.

Good one There's no need to risk jail time in bringing it from the land of smiles!

What utter nonsense! Having been a diving instructor in Thailand, having probably 400 plus dive in Thailand let me assure you this will destroy a very fragile industry for tourism.  Dive photos and dive videos are all part of the experience. If you want to save coral ban long-tails and crazy thai boats from fragile dive sites. I've seen anchors being dropped and dragging through protected sites with not a word being said.....

The bottom line about coral destruction is the "bleaching" that is consequence of global warming. Vast areas in Thailand have died and look white and dead.

It's an outdated 30 year old building, with the internal surfaces having been exposed to the elements throughout that time. It's junk. The owners(???) were probably hoping it would fall down and save the cost of demolition, so they could start building something more up to date.

I doubt that. There are implosion methods available that have costs that can be absorved in the project of a new building in this prime location. At some point all the stakeholders will decide on that.

The Highway Code of Thailand is very similar to the UK one and it clearly states that drivers must stop if someone is on the crossing waiting to cross, sadly Thais have little knowledge of road rules and even less of where the brake is so they think that impact is the correct way to stop.

One writer wrote in one of his books about Thailand and Southeast Asia that the Traffic rules and regulations book in Thailand is a very old, rotting book, with it's pages full of mold and many pages are missing, plus this book is actually locked in a basement where nobody ever goes...

Like most AI enhanced "journalism", this article hysterically overstates the risks of Sildenafil based ED medications. eg: Viagra, Kamagra, Sidegra  Warnings are very clear that persons taking nitrate based heart medications are at risk, also persons with chronic low blood pressure as Sildenafil is a blood pressure lowering drug.  A prominent risk of sildenafil is dizziness when standing up quickly, a risk of low blood pressure.

Both Sildenafil and Taldalafil give me long migraines, besides the erection of course. So I really try to have a healthy life and have normal erections.

Shows how easy it is to fake your ID and travel anywhere.

I think it's a pretty difficult. Passports in the past used to be "dumb", nowadays they contain chips that are read in a scanner when you pass through immigration. He must have spent a lot of money in order to have a full identity swap with someone who is still alive.

  8. If the controlled herb is cannabis-related (e.g., cannabis flowers or parts of the plant with THC levels exceeding legal limits), the penalties could fall under the Narcotics Act B.E. 2522 (1979) or its amendments. While cannabis was decriminalized for medical and research purposes in 2022, unauthorized exportation of controlled parts (like flowers) or extracts exceeding 0.2% THC could still be treated as a narcotics offense. Penalties under this framework vary based on the quantity and intent:
    • For manufacturing, importing, or exporting narcotics (if the herb is classified as such due to THC content or lack of permits), penalties can include imprisonment ranging from 1 to 15 years and fines up to 1.5 million THB (around $45,000 USD).
    • In severe cases involving large quantities or organized trafficking, penalties could escalate to life imprisonment or even the death penalty, though the latter is rare and typically reserved for major drug trafficking networks.

due to thailands location and the type of tourists they depend on, id say theres not much they can do to achieve their goal of taking our money and not have us be there

Exactly, their goal is that we apply and pay for an expensive Visa that allows us to stay Zero days, then we send the money for the vacation and stay home. Everyone in the Kingdom would love the farangs!
