The driver of the pickup should be charged with dangerous driving causing injuries and death if what the driver of the van is factually correct in her statement .

We all know that is the normal thing to do keith That is what he should be charged with but he wont be. Maybe 1000 baht fine and say sorry to families and a wei and he will be teaching again Monday the 6th and driving to work also. But This is all based on evidence from the van driver. We shall see

  2. I AM certain i had a drunk Thai driver in front of me the other day when i was driving to Mackro They had the car sitting on the cenre line and moving it from east to west not letting anybody pass. oR they were just brain dead like most thai drivers and did not know what lane they wanted to be in The horn on my car gets a workout every day but it makes no difference.

Then my old favourite I see The redlight runners. No patience so just go through the red light. Everyday if I went to Mackro which is about 4 klms from my house you could book 500 drivers for breaking the road rules. Where are the RTP? Nowhere to be seen and the one ones you do see are stranding at the lights with their white gloves on doing nothing. Question Why would you be standing at traffic lights for? They seeem to be working .

  3. So much for the law banning carrying people in the back of pick-ups. Might as well use the paper it is written on as target practice at the local gun club. Those tents beside the road just are complete waste of time. Sorry they get the cops lots of overtime sitting there doing nothing But one good thing when i go for my walks in the morning past this tent there is this cute little lady cop who gives me a wave every morning. Now that is one good feature i can say about those tents.:cheesy:

They haven't learned nothing in the last 30 odd years that i have been here, why should they start now? lives have very little values in this country, and until people will start treasure and cherish their lives as worth living, maybe, just maybe things will change but until then, don't hold your breath...

Agree what u said. Life is cheap here and by the looks of it they really think its fun dying Yesterday I was walking A motorbike came past me with a passenger on board He was well over the speed limit No helmets and it gets better..He had the bike up on one wheel My whole body started shaking at that site  My god life is cheap alright

  5. He is one of many who drink drive. But every country has drink drivers but at least most countries are trying their hardest to stamp it out but you never will Its like prostitituion. Like i said the Pm begged them not to drink drive was like telling the scarecrow from wizard of oz(No Brains)  Well I wonder what his punishment will be? 500 baht fine and a wai or just tell him to pick the car up when he sobers up and drive again. He was mighty drunk but nothing changes and those cops sitting in those tents playing with their phones are really doing a good job. It is really deterring guys like this one as you all can see. They should be getting off their backsides and getting out amongst the traffic and start laying down the law like they mean business. Ooops sorry I meantioned work So sorry.

Well this afternoon they had thinned out a bit worn out i must think from over work Meanwhile The drivers were going past that checkpoint No helmets speeding 4 on a bike and nobody was pulled up  So I ask again why are these checkpoints in place

Ok my question again what is the purpose of those tents with all those coppers siting inside doing nothing? Is it supposed to act as a deterant for drivers not to break the road rules Is that what there purpose is?

It is only my humours guess..... But I would guess that it is to get Thai Cops out near the roads..... without expecting them to really work (Just being there for show) like their government (Being there just for show)...........

So u saying instead of playing with the phones in their office they can play with their phones beside the road :cheesy:

  9. Latest Betting odds the court will rule in favour of disolving the FFP

Party will banished by trumped up charges  5/4

Chances of court defying governemnt and saying FFP legal and can stay in Parliment 500 -1

The governemnt owns the courts so you think these judges will go against them and lose there cosy life NO bloody way mate Probably got army generals sitting on the bench having a vote

  10. He might as well tell Humpty Dumpty not to drink drive. That is how much Thais will listen to him. I saw Thailands reaction today by setting up thoses tents with flashing lights beside the road. Inside the tent were about 30 cops all playing with their phones. Carry on folks business as usual. Can anyone in this forum please tell me what those tents with flashing lights are supposed to do? Very curious guy I am?
