Yet another case of very poor reporting. Do they mean TRANSFER as in electronic transfer or do they mean EXCHANGE in that you go to a counter with your foreign currency and change it for Thai Baht? TV, it is time you started challenging some of these reports to make sure people understand the basis of what you are publishing, even if you are only copying and pasting an article!
You are correct sir. Bad reporting causes fear. I look at it it just means you cant take foreign money to a counter and exchange it for Thai Baht Another nail in the coffin for tourist industryt especially at airports Means you cant exchange money. This is getting crazy Can a virus hitch a ride on the back of paper notes now . If it includes like transfer money on internet(western union then that is just pure madness)

On my expats forum in issan yesterday a guy put up a pic showing where a dog attacked him. It was just bloody awful I said to him mate if that dog attacked me he would be up in heaven today. The government has got to start sending people around and picking up these bloody stray soi dogs,They are just vicious only becuase they are starving. So what is more cruel? Putting the dog down by needle or letting it starve to death and attacking humans

Ban Thais from driving would be a great idea also But that never will happen. Government can say what it likes but no control over its people

Instead of giving money the government should be stepping up infrustructure and getting Thais Jobs in doing so Giving money only helps a bit A job is much better I was thinking there could be some vacancies for crew members for those subs they have just bought 600 jobs there i guess and 1 Admiral

He is right No matter what he says the Thais wont listen anyway. Why have any leaders at all? I am afraid Songran has just got out of hand It is a license now to get <deleted> and throw water. You can see how much attention Thais pay to obeying the rules They stuck up sign saying "NO Turn right" Did it stop the cars? hahah I think more cars turn right now

4 people on a bike I thought motorbikes were made for 2 people It is just murder on wheels and it goes on day afer day with a useless police force doing nothing to help the situation
Yesterday my dear friends I lost power for 3 hours. Why do you ask? There was a car accident on a corner on the main drag . A car did not take the corner and ran off the road and someone was killed plus knocking down the power pole. Hence no power. In the last 6 month there have been 5 accidents on that corner and 4 people have died. The corner is not that difficult to negotiate. Reason why they run off is because of excess speeding. I walk along that road and those cars are going well over the speed limit. We all know the limit of Thai driving skills Its very limited and they just cant get around that corner because they are driving way to fast . Authorities reaction to latest accident .I know you are all going to say they stepped up police patrols along the main drag to catch these speeding drivers? Wrong. They painted the rails that go around the corner silver You think that will stop the Thais from speeding around the corner Just more deaths coming up

Obviously you never have been in the rural Thailand.
In the majority of the rural areas of Thailand where have families that lives in villages around their farms that are farming rice exc products.
People are poor and (most of them) can not afford cars....they commute with 30.000 to 40.000 baht motorbikes....schools are 2-4 kilometers away in distance and a member of the family pick up many times 2-3 children driving very carefully in a two-way (straight line) road from the village to school....
I seen this and done this many times.
It is just how every day life continues to be in the poor rice farm villages.
The roads are not great but are good enough....have good markings for not driving fast around schools and everybody knows what time people are going to pick up childrens.... and it is literally obvious because you can see hundreds of people picking up children from school and driving carefully back to home.
It only takes 1 crazy and iresponsible car driver that is speeding and don't care for the situation to head crash to a family with motorbike... This can and will happen every day if people don't want to care for themselves and the others....it is not an accident it is a way of driving without considering other people's life.
Well i have seen rural Thailand But to you what is more important Life or death

3 quarters of the audience will be army generals They have to do something with them because they have so many of them So let them attend forums. Its ok having these forums as long as you do something with some of the stuff that comes out of them But really they are a waste of time because honestly does this government listen to anybody apart from the rich and the army

Ok the main reason for Songran. Its is for Thais to get <deleted>, act stupid ,and throw water over each other for a week and also not to go to work for week. So what the authorities say and what the Thai people do is completely different Ask you a question? Do Thais obey the road rules? No So I cant see them obeying this rule either. Think about it? Songran is Thai new year right? What country in the world gets on the grog and misses work for a week over New year"s day. Thailand of coarse. Now half the bloody Thais would not even know what Songran means. They just want to get on the grog and run riot.
The Chinese have New year but you dont see them geting <deleted> and throwing water over each other and acting stupid.

I got a great charge to bring up. Charge the present PM with staging a coup in 2014 when he was a servant to the government. I call that treason

Be like talking to a brick wall The Thais have no intention of stopping the practice of throwing water over everyone But the main aim is be be wasted for a week and see how many can be killed on the roads
